2 Samuel 5:2

In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led Israel out [to war] and brought Israel in [from battle]. And the Lord told you, ‘You shall shepherd My people Israel and be ruler over them.’”

Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the Lord said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.

Previously, when Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel out and in. And the Lord said to you, ‘You will shepherd My people Israel, and you will be a ruler over Israel.’”

In the past, Saul was our king. But you led Israel on their military campaigns. And the Lord said to you, ‘You will be the shepherd over my people Israel. You will become their ruler.’ ”

وَفِي الأَيَّامِ الْغَابِرَةِ عِنْدَمَا كَانَ شَاوُلُ مَلِكاً عَلَيْنَا كُنْتَ أَنْتَ قَائِدَنَا فِي الْمَعَارِكِ، وَقَدْ قَالَ الرَّبُّ لَكَ: ’أَنْتَ تَرْعَى شَعْبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَتَتَوَلَّى حُكْمَهُ‘.»

„Og du har altid været vores leder i krig, selvom Saul var vores konge! Det er Herren selv, der har sagt, at du skal være hyrde og leder for hele hans folk.”

Schon damals, als Saul noch König war, bist du es gewesen, der Israels Heer in den Kampf geführt und siegreich wieder zurückgebracht hat. 从前扫罗做王的时候，率领以色列人出征打仗的是你，耶和华也曾应许让你做祂以色列子民的牧者和首领。”
