2 Samuel 3:19

Abner also spoke [g]to [the men of] Benjamin. Then he also went to [h]tell David at Hebron everything that seemed good [i]to Israel and to the entire house of Benjamin.

And Abner also spake in the ears of Benjamin: and Abner went also to speak in the ears of David in Hebron all that seemed good to Israel, and that seemed good to the whole house of Benjamin.

Abner took the Benjaminites aside and spoke to them. Then he went to Hebron for a private talk with David, telling him everything that Israel in general and Benjamin in particular were planning to do.

Abner also spoke in the hearing of Benjamin; and in addition Abner went to speak in the hearing of David in Hebron all that seemed good to Israel and to the whole house of Benjamin.

ثُمَّ تَدَاوَلَ أَبْنَيْرُ الأَمْرَ مَعَ شُيُوخِ سِبْطِ بِنْيَامِينَ، وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ تَوَجَّهَ إِلَى حَبْرُونَ لِيُبَلِّغَ دَاوُدَ مَا تَمَّ الاتِّفَاقُ عَلَيْهِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ رُؤُسَاءِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

Abner forhandlede også med lederne af Benjamins stamme, hvorefter han tog til Hebron for at informere David om resultatet af sine forhandlinger.
