Then Absalom’s servants came to the woman at the house and asked, “Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan?” And the woman said to them, “They have crossed over the brook.” When they searched and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.

Absaloms mænd sporede de unge mænd til huset i Bahurim og spurgte konen, om hun havde set noget til Ahima’atz og Jonatan. Hun fortalte, at de to unge mænd allerede var gået videre over på den anden side af bækken. Mændene ledte så efter dem i den retning, men forgæves, og de måtte vende tilbage til Jerusalem med uforrettet sag.

Les envoyés d’Absalom entrèrent chez la femme et demandèrent : Où sont Ahimaats et Jonathan ?La femme répondit : Ils ont passé l’eau[b].Ils les cherchèrent sans succès puis rentrèrent à Jérusalem.

Sang magkadto ang mga tinawo ni Absalom sa balay sang tawo, ginpamangkot nila ang iya asawa, “Nakita bala ninyo si Ahimaaz kag si Jonatan?” Nagsabat ang asawa, “Nagtabok sila sa suba.” Ginpangita nila sila pero wala nila makita, gani nagbalik na lang sila sa Jerusalem.

압살롬의종들이그집에와서아히마 아스와 요나단을 보았느냐고 묻자 그 여자는 그들이 시내를 건너가더라고 말해주었다. 그종들은그들을찾다 가 찾지 못하고 결국 예루살렘으로 돌 아가고 말았다.

Toen Absaloms mannen bij het huis kwamen en haar vroegen of zij Ahimaäz en Jonathan had gezien, vertelde zij hun dat ze de nabijgelegen beek waren overgestoken en verdwenen. Zij zochten nog enige tijd naar de beide vluchtelingen, maar gingen ten slotte onverrichter zake terug naar Jeruzalem.

Os soldados de Absalão chegaram à casa da mulher e lhe perguntaram: “Onde estão Aimaás e Jônatas?”A mulher respondeu: “Eles atravessaram as águas”[b]. Os homens os procuraram sem sucesso, e voltaram a Jerusalém.

Quando a gente de Absalão chegou e perguntou à mulher se tinha visto Aimaaz e Jónatas, disse que tinham atravessado o ribeiro para o outro lado. Assim, cansaram-se de os procurar e voltaram para trás.

När Absaloms män kom till kvinnan och frågade var Achimaas och Jonatan var, sa hon att de hade gått över bäcken. De fortsatte då att söka efter dem men utan framgång och återvände sedan till Jerusalem.
