2 Samuel 14:25

Now in all Israel there was no man as handsome as Absalom, so highly praised [for that]; from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.

In the whole land of Israel there wasn’t any man as handsome as Absalom was. That’s why everyone praised him. From the top of his head to the bottom of his feet he didn’t have any flaws.

Now Absalom was praised as the most handsome man in all Israel. He was flawless from head to foot.

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِي كُلِّ إِسْرَائِيلَ رَجُلٌ وَسِيمُ الْمُحَيَّا، يَحْظَى بِالإِعْجَابِ كَأَبْشَالُومَ الَّذِي خَلا مِنْ كُلِّ عَيْبٍ مِنْ قِمَّةِ الرَّأْسِ إِلَى أَخْمَصِ الْقَدَمِ.

Ingen i hele Israel var så beundret for sit udseende som Absalom. Der var intet at udsætte på ham fra top til tå.

In ganz Israel gab es keinen Mann, der so schön war wie Absalom. Er war von Kopf bis Fuß vollkommen, und alle Leute bewunderten ihn.

Nu was geen man in Israël zo mooi en aantrekkelijk als Absalom. Niemand werd daarom ook zo geprezen als hij. Van top tot teen was niets op hem aan te merken.

Det fanns ingen i hela Israel som var så beundrad för sitt utseende som Absalom. Allt på honom var perfekt, från huvudet ända ner till fötterna.
