2 Kings 7:19

The royal officer had answered the man of God and said, “Now behold, [even] if the Lord should make windows in heaven, could such a thing happen?” And Elisha had answered, “You will see it with your own eyes, but [because of your doubt] you will not eat it.”

And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the Lord should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

Then the royal officer answered the man of God and said, “Now behold, if the Lord should make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he said, “Behold, you will see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat [k]of it.”

The officer had spoken to the man of God. The officer had said, “Suppose the Lord opens the sky and pours down food on us. Even if he does, could what you are saying really happen?” The man of God had replied, “You will see it with your own eyes. But you won’t eat any of it!”

The officer had said to the man of God, “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?” The man of God had replied, “You will see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of it!”

The king’s officer had replied, “That couldn’t happen even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven!” And the man of God had said, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it!”

وَلَكِنَّ الْجُنْدِيَّ قَالَ لِرَجُلِ اللهِ: «حَتَّى إنْ فَتَحَ الرَّبُّ كُوىً فِي السَّمَاءِ فَهَلْ يُمْكِنُ أَنْ يَحْدُثَ هَذَا الأَمْرُ؟» فَقَالَ لَهُ أَلِيشَعُ: «سَتَرَى ذَلِكَ بِعَيْنَيْكَ وَلَكِنَّكَ لَنْ تَأْكُلَ مِنْهُ».

Manden havde jo ved den lejlighed svaret, at det ikke kunne ske, om så Herren åbnede alle himlens sluser, og profeten havde svaret: „Det skal du få at se. Men du kommer ikke selv til at nyde godt af det.”

Et l’aide de camp lui avait répliqué : Même si l’Eternel perçait des trous dans le ciel, comment pareille chose pourrait-elle se réaliser ?A quoi Elisée avait répondu : Tu le verras de tes propres yeux, mais tu n’en mangeras pas.

그러나 그때 왕의 이 보좌관은 여호와께서 하늘에 창을 내고 곡식을 쏟아 붓는다고 해도 그런 일은 있을 수가 없을 것이라고 대꾸하였다. 그래서 엘리사가 “당신은 그것을 직접 목격하게 될 것이지만 그 어느 것도 먹지는 못할 것이오” 하고 예언하였다.

Esse tal ajudante retorquira ao homem de Deus, que isso não poderia acontecer nem que as janelas do céu fossem abertas pelo Senhor! Eliseu garantira a esse ajudante: “Verás isso acontecer, mas não poderás comprar nada!”

Atunci ofiţerul regelui îi spusese omului lui Dumnezeu: „Nici dacă ar face Domnul ferestre în cer nu s-ar putea întâmpla un asemenea lucru.“ Iar omul lui Dumnezeu îi răspunsese: „Vei vedea cu ochii tăi, dar tu nu vei mânca din ele.“

Kungens adjutant hade svarat gudsmannen: ”Det kan inte hända ens om Herren öppnar himlens fönster!” ”Du ska få se det med egna ögon, men du kommer inte att få möjlighet att äta av det!” hade profeten svarat honom.

但那将领对上帝的仆人说：“即使耶和华打开天上的窗户，也不可能发生这样的事！”上帝的仆人说：“你必亲眼看见，却吃不到。”

那 军 长 对 神 人 说 ： 即 便 耶 和 华 使 天 开 了 窗 户 ， 也 不 能 有 这 事 。 神 人 说 ： 你 必 亲 眼 看 见 ， 却 不 得 吃 。

但那將領對上帝的僕人說：「即使耶和華打開天上的窗戶，也不可能發生這樣的事！」上帝的僕人說：「你必親眼看見，卻吃不到。」
