2 Kings 7:13

One of his servants replied, “Please let some men take five of the horses which remain inside the city. Consider this: [if they are caught then at worst] they will be like all the people of Israel who are left in the city; [even if they are killed then] they will be like all the people of Israel who have already died. So let us send [them] and see [what happens].”

And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.

One of his advisors answered, “Let some men go and take five of the horses left behind. The worst that can happen is no worse than what could happen to the whole city. Let’s send them and find out what’s happened.”

One of his servants said, “Please, let some men take five of the horses which remain, which are left [e]in the city. Behold, they will be in any case like all the multitude of Israel who are left in it; behold, they will be in any case like all the multitude of Israel who have already perished, so let us send and see.”

One of the king’s officers said, “A few horses are still left in the city. Have some men get five of them. Those men won’t be any worse off than all the other Israelites who are left here. In fact, all of us will soon be dead anyway. So let’s send the men to find out what happened.”

فَأَجَابَ وَاحِدٌ مِنَ الضُّبَّاطِ وَقَالَ: «لِيَأْخُذْ بَعْضٌ مِنَّا خَمْسَةً مِنَ الْخَيْلِ الْبَاقِيَةِ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ. فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُمْ شَرٌّ يَكُونُونَ نَظِيرَ بَقِيَّةِ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ الْمُعْتَصِمِينَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، أَوْ نَظِيرَ مَنْ هَلَكُوا مِنَ الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ. فَلْنُرْسِلْ وَنَسْتَطْلِعِ الأَمْرَ».

„Men burde vi ikke alligevel sende nogle mænd ud og se efter?” spurgte en af officererne. „Lad os se, om der ikke skulle være bare fem heste tilbage i byen, man kan ride på. L’un des ministres proposa la chose suivante : On pourrait envoyer quelques hommes et les cinq chevaux qui nous restent encore dans la ville. Nous n’avons rien à y perdre, car ils connaîtront le même sort que celui de toute la multitude d’Israël qui reste dans la ville et qui va vers sa fin. Envoyons-les donc et nous verrons bien.

Nagsabat ang isa sang iya mga opisyal, “May lima pa kita ka kabayo nga nabilin, ngaa indi kita magpasugo sang pila ka mga tawo sa pag-usisa kon ano gid bala ang natabo? Bahala na kon patyon sila, total kon diri sila, mapatay man gihapon sila upod sa aton.”

그러자 한 신하가 대답하였다. “성 안에 남아 있는 말 다섯 마리와 함께 사람을 보내 시리아군의 진지를 살펴보고 오게 하십시오. 여기 남아 있는다고 해도 이미 죽은 사람들의 처지와 다를 것이 없습니다.”
