2 Kings 6:22

Elisha answered, “You shall not kill them. Would you kill those you have taken captive with your sword and bow? Serve them bread and water, so that they may eat and drink, and go back to their master [King Ben-hadad].”

And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.

“Not on your life!” said Elisha. “You didn’t lift a hand to capture them, and now you’re going to kill them? No sir, make a feast for them and send them back to their master.”

He [j]answered, “You shall not [k]kill them. Would you [l]kill those you have taken captive with your sword and with your bow? Set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master.”

“Don’t kill them,” he answered. “Would you kill people you have captured with your own sword or bow? Put some food and water in front of them. Then they can eat and drink. They can go back to their master.”

“Of course not!” Elisha replied. “Do we kill prisoners of war? Give them food and drink and send them home again to their master.”

فَأَجَابَهُ: «لا تَقْتُلْ أَحَداً. إِنَّمَا اقْتُلِ الَّذِينَ تَسْبِيهِمْ بِسَيْفِكَ وَقَوْسِكَ. أَمَّا هَؤُلاءِ فَقَدِّمْ لَهُمْ طَعَاماً وَمَاءً فَيَأْكُلُوا وَيَشْرَبُوا ثُمَّ يَنْطَلِقُوا إِلَى سَيِّدِهِمْ».

„Nej,” svarede Elisa. „Plejer man at dræbe sine krigsfanger? Giv dem noget at spise og drikke og send dem så hjem.”

»Nein, das sollst du nicht!«, entgegnete der Prophet. »Du würdest doch nicht einmal Soldaten erschlagen, die du im Kampf gefangen genommen hast! Gib ihnen zu essen und zu trinken, und dann lass sie zurück zu ihrem Herrn ziehen.«

―No, no los mates —contestó Eliseo—. ¿Acaso los has capturado con tu espada y tu arco, para que los mates? Mejor sírveles comida y agua para que coman y beban, y que luego vuelvan a su rey.

– Non, lui répondit Elisée, ne les tue pas ! Massacres-tu des soldats que tu as capturés grâce à ton épée ou ton arc ? Au contraire : fais-leur servir du pain et de l’eau pour qu’ils mangent et qu’ils boivent. Puis qu’ils retournent chez leur souverain !

Nagsabat si Elisha, “Indi sila pagpatya. Bisan gani ang mga bihag sa inaway wala naton ginapatay. Hatagi sila sang pagkaon kag tubig agod makakaon sila kag makainom, kag pagkatapos, pabalika sila sa ila hari.”[d]

그러자 엘리사가 “그건 안 됩니다. 칼과 활로 생포한 전쟁 포로도 아닌데 어떻게 죽일 수 있겠습니까? 음식을 주어 먹고 마시게 한 다음 그들의 왕에게 돌려보내십시오” 하고 대답하였다.

‘Natuurlijk niet,’ zei Elisa tegen hem, ‘u doodt toch ook geen mensen die gevangen zijn? Geef hun dus te eten en te drinken en laat hen dan weer vertrekken.’

Eliseu respondeu: “De maneira nenhuma! Iríamos matar prisioneiros de guerra? Dá-lhes de comer e beber e manda-os embora.”

– Nu-i ucide, a răspuns Elisei. I-ai ucide pe cei pe care-i iei captivi cu sabia şi cu arcul tău? Serveşte-i cu pâine şi cu apă ca să mănânce şi să bea, iar după aceea să se întoarcă la stăpânul lor.

– Нет, – ответил он. – Разве своим мечом и луком ты пленил их, чтобы тебе убить их? Дай им хлеб и воду, пусть едят, пьют и возвращаются к своему господину.

”Gör inte det!” svarade Elisha. ”Brukar du döda krigsfångar som du tar med svärd och båge? Ge dem mat och dryck och skicka sedan hem dem till sin herre igen.”

เอลีชาตอบว่า “อย่าเลย ท่านจะฆ่าเชลยศึกด้วยดาบและธนูของท่านหรือ จงให้อาหารเขากิน และให้น้ำเขาดื่ม แล้วปล่อยเขากลับไปหาเจ้านายของเขาเถิด”

以利沙答道：“不可杀他们。岂可杀从战场上抓来的俘虏呢？给他们吃的喝的，让他们回自己主人那里吧。”

回 答 说 ： 不 可 击 杀 他 们 ！ 就 是 你 用 刀 用 弓 掳 来 的 ， 岂 可 击 杀 他 们 麽 ( 或 作 也 不 可 击 杀 ， 何 况 这 些 人 呢 ) ？ 当 在 他 们 面 前 设 摆 饮 食 ， 使 他 们 吃 喝 回 到 他 们 的 主 人 那 里 。

以利沙答道：「不可殺他們。豈可殺從戰場上抓來的俘虜呢？給他們吃的喝的，讓他們回自己主人那裡吧。」
