2 Kings 4:43

His servant said, “How am I to set [only] this before a hundred [hungry] men?” He said, “Give it to the people so that they may eat, for thus says the Lord, ‘They shall eat and have some left.’”

And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the Lord, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof.

His servant said, “For a hundred men? There’s not nearly enough!”Elisha said, “Just go ahead and do it. God says there’s plenty.”

His attendant said, “What, will I set this before a hundred men?” But he said, “Give them to the people that they may eat, for thus says the Lord, ‘They shall eat and have some left over.’”

“How can I put this in front of 100 men?” his servant asked.But Elisha answered, “Give it to the people to eat. Do it because the Lord says, ‘They will eat and have some left over.’ ”

فَقَالَ خَادِمُهُ: «مَاذَا؟ هَلْ أَضَعُ هَذَا أَمَامَ مِئَةِ رَجُلٍ؟» فَقَالَ أَلِيشَعُ: «أَعْطِ الرِّجَالَ لِيَأْكُلُوا، لأَنَّهُ هَذَا مَا يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: إِنَّهُمْ يَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَفْضُلُ عَنْهُمْ».

„Hvordan skal jeg kunne mætte hundrede mennesker med den smule mad?” indvendte Gehazi.„Gør nu, som jeg har sagt,” vedblev Elisa, „for Herren siger, at der vil være rigeligt til alle og tilmed blive noget til overs.”
