But when they urged him until he was embarrassed [to refuse them], he said, “Send them.” So they sent fifty men, and they searched for three days but did not find Elijah.

فَأَلَحُّوا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى اعْتَرَاهُ الْخَجَلُ فَأَذْعَنَ لَهُمْ، فَأَوْفَدُوا خَمْسِينَ رَجُلاً ظَلُّوا يَبْحَثُونَ عَنْهُ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ دُونَ جَدْوَى.

Men de blev ved med at presse ham. Til sidst gav han efter og sagde: „Godt, så gør det bare.” De 50 mænd søgte efter Elias i tre dage, men de fandt ham ikke.

Men de var så envisa att han till slut fick ge med sig: ”Låt dem gå och leta då”, sa han. Och femtio män skickades iväg, och de letade i tre dagar, men de hittade inte Elia.
