2 Kings 16:3

Instead he walked in the way of the [idolatrous] kings of Israel, and even made his son pass through the fire [as a human sacrifice], in accordance with the repulsive [and idolatrous] practices of the [pagan] nations whom the Lord drove out before the Israelites.

مُتَمَثِّلاً بِمُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، حَتَّى إِنَّهُ أَجَازَ ابْنَهُ فِي النَّارِ، وَفْقاً لأَرْجَاسِ الأُمَمِ الَّذِينَ طَرَدَهُمُ الرَّبُّ مِنْ أَمَامِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ.

Han var ikke bedre end Israels onde konger, ja, han gik tilmed så vidt, at han ofrede sin egen søn på bålet. Derved fulgte han de afskyelige skikke, som fandtes hos de folk, Herren i sin tid jog ud af landet for at lade israelitterne bosætte sig der.

反而步以色列诸王的后尘，效法耶和华在以色列人面前赶走的外族人的可憎行径，把自己的儿子焚烧献作祭物。
