2 Kings 14:24

He did evil in the sight of the Lord; he did not turn from all the [idolatrous] sins of Jeroboam [I] the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord: he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

Jeroboam did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord. He didn’t turn away from any of the sins the earlier Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, had committed. That Jeroboam had caused Israel to commit those same sins.

وَارْتَكَبَ الشَّرَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ، وَلَمْ يَعْدِلْ عَنْ أَيٍّ مِنْ خَطَايَا يَرُبْعَامَ بْنِ نَبَاطَ الَّتِي اسْتَغْوَى بِها الإِسْرَائِيلِيِّينَ فَأَخْطَأُوا.

Han gjorde, hvad der var ondt i Herrens øjne. Han handlede fuldstændig som den Jeroboam, der først indførte afgudsdyrkelsen i Nordriget.
