2 Kings 12:18

So Jehoash the king of Judah took all the sacred things that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own sacred things and all the gold that was found in the treasuries of the house (temple) of the Lord and of the king’s house, and sent them to Hazael king of Aram; and Hazael departed from Jerusalem. Joash (Jehoash) Succeeded by Amaziah in Judah

And Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed things that Jehoshaphat, and Jehoram, and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and in the king's house, and sent it to Hazael king of Syria: and he went away from Jerusalem.

Jehoash king of Judah took all the sacred things that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own sacred things and all the gold that was found among the treasuries of the house of the Lord and of the king’s house, and sent them to Hazael king of Aram. But Joash, the king of Judah, didn’t want to go to war. So he took all the sacred objects. They had been set apart to the Lord by the kings who had ruled over Judah before him. Those kings were Jehoshaphat, Jehoram and Ahaziah. Joash took the gifts he himself had set apart. He took all the gold that was among the temple treasures. He also took all the gold from the royal palace. He sent all those things to Hazael, the king of Aram. Then Hazael pulled his army back from Jerusalem.

But Joash king of Judah took all the sacred objects dedicated by his predecessors—Jehoshaphat, Jehoram and Ahaziah, the kings of Judah—and the gifts he himself had dedicated and all the gold found in the treasuries of the temple of the Lord and of the royal palace, and he sent them to Hazael king of Aram, who then withdrew from Jerusalem.

But Joash king of Judah took all the sacred objects dedicated by his predecessors – Jehoshaphat, Jehoram and Ahaziah, the kings of Judah – and the gifts he himself had dedicated and all the gold found in the treasuries of the temple of the Lord and of the royal palace, and he sent them to Hazael king of Aram, who then withdrew from Jerusalem.

King Joash collected all the sacred objects that Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, and Ahaziah, the previous kings of Judah, had dedicated, along with what he himself had dedicated. He sent them all to Hazael, along with all the gold in the treasuries of the Lord’s Temple and the royal palace. So Hazael called off his attack on Jerusalem.

فَجَمَعَ يَهُوآشُ مَلِكُ يَهُوذَا كُلَّ الأَقْدَاسِ الَّتِي خَصَّصَهَا يَهُوشَافَاطُ وَيَهُورَامُ وَأَخَزْيَا آبَاؤُهُ مُلُوكُ يَهُوذَا، وَمَا خَصَّصَهُ هُوَ مِنْ أَقْدَاسٍ، وَكُلَّ الذَّهَبِ الْمَوْجُودِ فِي خَزَائِنِ هَيْكَلِ الرَّبِّ وَقَصْرِ الْمَلِكِ، وَأَرْسَلَهَا إِلَى حَزَائِيلَ مَلِكِ أَرَامَ. فَرَجَعَ عَنْ مُهَاجَمَةِ أُورُشَلِيمَ.

På det tidspunkt gik kong Hazael af Aram til angreb på filisterbyen Gat, og det lykkedes ham at erobre byen, hvorefter han marcherede mod Jerusalem.

Por eso Joás, rey de Judá, recogió todos los objetos que habían consagrado sus antepasados Josafat, Jorán y Ocozías, reyes de Judá, junto con los que él mismo había consagrado, más todo el oro que pudo encontrar entre los tesoros del templo del Señor y en el palacio real. Todo esto se lo envió a Jazael, rey de Siria, el cual se retiró de Israel.

En ce temps-là[g], Hazaël, roi de Syrie, vint attaquer la ville de Gath[h] et s’en empara, puis il décida de marcher sur Jérusalem.

요아스는 그의 선왕 여호사밧과 여호람과 아하시야가 여호와께 바친 모든 예물과 그리고 자기가 바친 예물까지 포함하여 성전과 왕궁에 있는 모든 금을 거두어 하사엘왕에게 선물로 보냈다. 그래서 하사엘은 자기 군대를 이끌고 예루살렘에서 물러갔다.

Koning Joas nam echter alle heilige voorwerpen die zijn voorouders—Josafat, Joram en Ahazia, de koningen van Juda—hadden gewijd, samen met wat hijzelf aan de Here had gewijd en al het goud uit de schatkamers van de tempel en het paleis en stuurde dat naar Hazaël. Die zag toen van verdere belegering af.

Então Joás, rei de Judá, apanhou todos os objetos consagrados por seus antepassados Josafá, Jeorão e Acazias, reis de Judá, e os que ele mesmo havia consagrado, e todo o ouro encontrado no depósito do templo do Senhor e do palácio real, e enviou tudo a Hazael, rei da Síria, que, assim, desistiu de atacar Jerusalém.

O rei Joás pegou em todos os objetos sagrados que os seus antepassados (Jeosafá, Jeorão e Acazias, reis de Judá) tinham consagrado, e no que ele próprio dera, assim como no ouro que se achou nos tesouros do templo e do palácio, e enviou tudo a Hazael. Desta forma, este último desistiu do ataque. Fim do reinado de Joás(2 Cr 24.25-27)

Kung Joash av Juda tog då alla heliga föremål som hans förfäder, kungarna av Juda, Joshafat, Joram och Achasja, hade helgat, samt allt det som han själv hade helgat och allt guld som fanns i skattkamrarna i Herrens hus och i kungapalatset. Han skickade allt detta till araméerkungen Hasael, som då drog sig tillbaka från Jerusalem.

犹大王约阿施把先王约沙法、约兰、亚哈谢和他自己奉献的圣物以及耶和华殿里和王宫库房里的所有金子都送给了亚兰王哈薛，哈薛便从耶路撒冷退兵。
