2 Corinthians 8:1

Now, brothers and sisters, we want to tell you about the grace of God which has been evident in the churches of Macedonia [awakening in them a longing to contribute];

Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

1-4 Now, friends, I want to report on the surprising and generous ways in which God is working in the churches in Macedonia province. Fierce troubles came down on the people of those churches, pushing them to the very limit. The trial exposed their true colors: They were incredibly happy, though desperately poor. The pressure triggered something totally unexpected: an outpouring of pure and generous gifts. I was there and saw it for myself. They gave offerings of whatever they could—far more than they could afford!—pleading for the privilege of helping out in the relief of poor Christians.

Now, brethren, we wish to make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the churches of Macedonia,

Now I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters,[a] what God in his kindness has done through the churches in Macedonia.

Asɛm a ɛfa nnuan a wɔde ma ahoni ho nso ni: Ɛyɛ nokware pefee sɛ nea wɔka no se, “Yɛn nyinaa wɔ nimdeɛ.” Saa nimdeɛ no ma onipa yɛ ahantan; nanso ɔdɔ ma nkɔso.

وَالآنَ، نُعَرِّفُكُمْ، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ، بِنِعْمَةِ اللهِ الْمَوْهُوبَةِ فِي كَنَائِسِ مُقَاطَعَةِ مَقِدُونِيَّةَ.

Mga igsoon, gusto namong isugilon kaninyo ang gibuhat sa mga tumutuo didto sa Macedonia pinaagi sa grasya sa Dios[a] kanila.

Musím vám teď povědět, jak ohromně zapůsobila Boží milost v křesťanských obcích v Makedonii.
