2 Corinthians 1:9

Indeed, we felt within ourselves that we had received the sentence of death [and were convinced that we would die, but this happened] so that we would not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead.

But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

Už sa zdalo, že je s nami koniec, pripravovali sme sa na smrť. Cítim, že to muselo dôjsť tak ďaleko preto, aby sme sa už nespoliehali na nič iné len na Boha, ktorý má moc aj vzkriesiť mŕtvych.

我们心里觉得必死无疑，这使我们不倚靠自己，只倚靠使死人复活的上帝。
