No Passover like it had been celebrated in Israel since the days of Samuel the prophet; nor had any of the kings of Israel celebrated such a Passover as Josiah did with the priests, the Levites, all Judah and Israel who were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

There had not been celebrated a Passover like it in Israel since the days of Samuel the prophet; nor had any of the kings of Israel celebrated such a Passover as Josiah did with the priests, the Levites, all Judah and Israel who were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

The Passover Feast hadn’t been observed like that in Israel since the days of Samuel the prophet. None of the kings of Israel had ever celebrated a Passover Feast like Josiah’s. He celebrated it with the priests and Levites. All the people of Judah and Israel were there along with the people of Jerusalem. He celebrated it with them too.

وَلَمْ يُجْرَ احْتِفَالٌ مِثْلُهُ فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُنْذُ أَيَّامِ صَمُوئِيلَ النَّبِيِّ. وَلَمْ يَحْتَفِلْ أَحَدُ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ بِالْفِصْحِ بِمِثْلِ مَا احْتَفَلَ بِهِ يُوشِيَّا وَالْكَهَنَةُ وَاللّاوِيُّونَ وَكُلُّ يَهُوذَا وَإِسْرَائِيلَ الْحَاضِرُونَ، وَأَهْلُ أُورُشَلِيمَ.

Ikke siden profeten Samuels tid havde man fejret påske i Israel efter alle forskrifterne. Ingen konge før Josias havde holdt en så storslået påskehøjtid sammen med præsterne, levitterne og folk fra hele Jerusalem, Juda og Israel.

Sinds de tijd van de profeet Samuël was Pesach niet meer zo gevierd, geen enkele koning van Israël kon in dit opzicht met koning Josia wedijveren. Nog nooit eerder hadden zoveel priesters, Levieten en inwoners van Jeruzalem, Juda en Israël aan de viering deelgenomen.

Inte sedan profeten Samuels tid hade det varit ett sådant påskfirande i Israel. Ingen av Israels kungar hade firat en sådan påsk som firades av Josia, prästerna och leviterna och allt folk från Juda och Israel som var samlade och Jerusalems invånare.
