2 Chronicles 34:30

And the king went up to the house of the Lord with all the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the priests, the Levites, and all the people, from the greatest to the least; and he read aloud so they could hear all the words of the Book of the Covenant which was found in the house of the Lord. alle præsterne, levitterne og resten af folket, høj såvel som lav, til et stort møde på tempelpladsen. Han bekendtgjorde, at pagtens bog var blevet fundet i templet, og befalede, at der skulle læses op fra den.

Puis il monta au temple de l’Eternel, accompagné de toute la population de Juda et des habitants de Jérusalem, des prêtres, des lévites et de tous les gens du peuple, quelle que fût leur condition sociale.
