2 Chronicles 28:27

And Ahaz slept with his fathers [in death], and they buried him in the city, in Jerusalem, but they did not bring him into the tombs of the kings of Israel. And his son Hezekiah reigned in his place.

ثُمَّ مَاتَ آحَازُ فَدَفَنُوهُ فِي مَدِينَةِ أُورُشَلِيمَ، لأَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يُوَارُوهُ فِي مَقَابِرِ مُلُوكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَخَلَفَهُ ابْنُهُ حَزَقِيَّا عَلَى الْمُلْكِ.

Da Ahaz døde, blev han begravet i Davidsbyen i Jerusalem, men ikke i det kongelige gravsted. Hans søn Hizkija blev konge efter ham.
