And Jotham slept with his fathers [in death], and they buried him in the City of David. Ahaz his son became king in his place.

Jotham joined the members of his family who had already died. He was buried in the City of David. Jotham’s son Ahaz became the next king after him.

ثُمَّ مَاتَ فَدَفَنُوهُ فِي مَدِينَةِ دَاوُدَ، وَخَلَفَهُ ابْنُهُ آحَازُ عَلَى الْمُلْكِ.
