As he was talking, the king said to him, “Have we made you the king’s counselor? Stop! Why should you be put to death?” Then the prophet stopped and said, “I know that God has decided to destroy you because you have done this and have ignored my advice.” Amaziah Defeated by Joash of Israel

And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art thou made of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.

Amaziah interrupted him, “Did I ask for your opinion? Shut up or get thrown out!”The prophet quit speaking, but not before he got in one last word: “I have it on good authority: God has made up his mind to throw you out because of what you’ve done, and because you wouldn’t listen to me.”

Why should you be struck down?” Then the prophet stopped and said, “I know that God has planned to destroy you, because you have done this and have not listened to my counsel.” Amaziah Defeated by Joash of Israel

While the prophet was still speaking, the king spoke to him. He said, “Did I ask you for advice? Stop! If you don’t, you will be struck down.”So the prophet stopped. But then he said, “I know that God has decided to destroy you. That’s because you have worshiped other gods. You haven’t listened to my advice.”

But the king interrupted him and said, “Since when have I made you the king’s counselor? Be quiet now before I have you killed!”So the prophet stopped with this warning: “I know that God has determined to destroy you because you have done this and have refused to accept my counsel.”

فَقَاطَعَهُ الْمَلِكُ وَقَالَ: «هَلْ أَقَمْنَاكَ أَحَدَ مُشِيرِي الْمَلِكِ؟ كُفَّ لِئَلّا تُقْتَلَ». فَانْصَرَفَ النَّبِيُّ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: «قَدْ أَيْقَنْتُ أَنَّ اللهَ قَضَى بِإِهْلاكِكَ، لأَنَّكَ ارْتَكَبْتَ هَذَا وَأَبَيْتَ أَنْ تَسْمَعَ لِمَشُورَتِي».

„Siden hvornår har jeg bedt dig om råd?” snerrede kongen. „Ti stille, eller jeg slår dig ihjel!” Da forlod profeten ham med afskedsordene: „Nu ved jeg, at Gud har planer om at tilintetgøre dig, siden du ikke vil lytte til min advarsel!”

Mais le roi l’interrompit en lui répliquant : Est-ce qu’on t’a nommé conseiller du roi ? Tais-toi ! Inutile de te faire tuer !Le prophète n’insista pas, mais avant de se retirer, il dit cependant : Parce que tu as agi comme tu l’as fait et que tu as refusé d’écouter mes conseils, je reconnais que Dieu a décidé dans son conseil de te détruire. Samtang nagahambal ang propeta, nagsabat ang hari, “Ngaa ginalaygayan mo ako? Ginhimo ko bala ikaw nga manuglaygay? Maghipos ka, kay kon indi ipapatay ko ikaw.” Gani naghipos ang propeta pagkatapos niya hambal sini: “Sigurado gid nga laglagon ka sang Dios tungod nga nagsimba ka sa mga dios-dios kag wala ka nagpamati sa akon.”

그러자 왕은 “언제부터 내가 너를 고문으로 삼았느냐? 내가 너를 죽여 버리기 전에 입을 닥쳐라” 하고 말문을 막았다. 그래서 그 예언자는 떠나면서 왕에게 마지막 경고를 했다. “왕이 이런 짓을 하고도 나의 충고를 받아들이지 않으므로 하나님께서 왕을 멸망시키기로 작정한 줄 아십시오.”

‘Heb ik u soms om advies gevraagd?’ zei de koning op hoge toon. ‘Houd uw mond, anders laat ik u doden!’ De profeet ging weg, maar niet zonder een laatste waarschuwing te uiten: ‘Ik weet dat God heeft besloten u te vernietigen, omdat u deze afgoden vereert en niet naar mijn raad hebt geluisterd.’

“Quando foi que pedi a tua opinião?”, retorquiu-lhe o rei. “É melhor calares-te, se não és homem morto!”Perante isto, o profeta calou-se e não insistiu mais, mas deixou este aviso: “Sei que Deus já determinou destruir-te, por teres adorado esses ídolos e recusado o meu conselho.”

先知的话还没有说完，王就打断他，说：“住口！谁立你做王的谋士了？你要自取灭亡吗？”先知停了一下，又说：“我知道上帝已定意要毁灭你，因为你做了这事，不听我的忠告。” 与以色列交战

先 知 与 王 说 话 的 时 候 ， 王 对 他 说 ： 谁 立 你 作 王 的 谋 士 呢 ？ 你 住 口 罢 ！ 为 何 找 打 呢 ？ 先 知 就 止 住 了 ， 又 说 ： 你 行 这 事 ， 不 听 从 我 的 劝 戒 ， 我 知 道 神 定 意 要 灭 你 。
