2 Chronicles 25:15

So the anger of the Lord burned against Amaziah, and He sent him a prophet who said to him, “Why have you [b]desired the gods of the people who did not save their own people from your hand?”

Wherefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a prophet, which said unto him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the people, which could not deliver their own people out of thine hand?

Then the anger of the Lord burned against Amaziah, and He sent him a prophet who said to him, “Why have you sought the gods of the people who have not delivered their own people from your hand?”

The Lord was very angry with Amaziah. He sent a prophet to him. The prophet said, “Why do you ask the gods of those people for advice? They couldn’t even save their own people from your power!”

The anger of the Lord burned against Amaziah, and he sent a prophet to him, who said, “Why do you consult this people’s gods, which could not save their own people from your hand?”

فَاحْتَدَمَ غَضَبُ الرَّبِّ عَلَيْهِ وَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ نَبِيًّا يَقُولُ: «لِمَاذَا ضَلَلْتَ وَرَاءَ آلِهَةِ قَوْمٍ عَجَزُوا عَنْ إِنْقَاذِ شَعْبِهِمْ مِنْ يَدِكَ؟»

Da blev Herren vred og sendte en profet til Amatzja med følgende budskab: „Hvorfor beder du til de guder, der ikke kunne frelse deres eget folk?”

Da wurde der Herr zornig auf Amazja. Er schickte einen Propheten zu ihm und ließ ihm sagen: »Warum verehrst du diese Götter, die ihr Volk nicht einmal vor dir retten konnten?«

Alors l’Eternel se mit en colère contre lui et il lui envoya un prophète qui lui demanda : Pourquoi t’es-tu tourné vers les dieux de ce peuple qui n’ont même pas été capables de délivrer leur propre peuple de ton pouvoir ?

De Here werd toornig en stuurde een profeet met de vraag: ‘Waarom aanbidt u uitgerekend goden die niet eens in staat waren hun eigen volk tegen u te beschermen?’

Då blev Herren vred på Amasja, och han sände en profet till honom som frågade: ”Varför rådfrågar du gudar som inte ens kunde rädda sitt eget folk undan dig?”

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงพระพิโรธอามาซิยาห์ยิ่งนัก จึงทรงใช้ผู้เผยพระวจนะมาถามว่า “เหตุใดเจ้าจึงไปหาพระต่างๆ ของชนชาตินี้ ซึ่งไม่อาจแม้แต่ช่วยคนของตัวให้พ้นมือเจ้าได้?”

因此，耶和华向亚玛谢发怒，祂派一个先知去见他，说：“这些神明既然不能从你手中救自己的人民，你为什么还要祭拜它们呢？”
