2 Chronicles 22:11

But Jehoshabeath, the king’s daughter, took Joash the [infant] son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the king’s sons who were being put to death, and she placed him and his nurse in the bedroom. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram [of Judah] and wife of Jehoiada the priest, hid Joash from [his grandmother] Athaliah so that she did not murder him (for Jehoshabeath was the sister of Ahaziah).

But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

But Jehoshabeath the king’s daughter took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons who were being put to death, and placed him and his nurse in the bedroom. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest (for she was the sister of Ahaziah), hid him from Athaliah so that she would not put him to death.

But Jehosheba went and got Joash, the son of Ahaziah. Jehosheba was the daughter of King Jehoram. She stole Joash away from among the royal princes. All of them were about to be murdered. She put Joash and his nurse in a bedroom. Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram, was the wife of Jehoiada the priest. She was also Ahaziah’s sister. So Jehosheba hid the child from Athaliah. That’s why Athaliah couldn’t kill him.

But Jehosheba,[e] the daughter of King Jehoram, took Joash son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the royal princes who were about to be murdered and put him and his nurse in a bedroom. Because Jehosheba,[f] the daughter of King Jehoram and wife of the priest Jehoiada, was Ahaziah’s sister, she hid the child from Athaliah so she could not kill him.

But Ahaziah’s sister Jehosheba,[i] the daughter of King Jehoram, took Ahaziah’s infant son, Joash, and stole him away from among the rest of the king’s children, who were about to be killed. She put Joash and his nurse in a bedroom. In this way, Jehosheba, wife of Jehoiada the priest and sister of Ahaziah, hid the child so that Athaliah could not murder him.

غَيْرَ أَنَّ يَهُوشَبْعَةَ ابْنَةَ الْمَلِكِ يَهُورَامَ اخْتَطَفَتْ يُوآشَ بْنَ أَخَزْيَا مِنْ بَيْنِ أَبْنَاءِ الْمَلِكِ الَّذِينَ شَرَعَتْ عَثَلْيَا فِي قَتْلِهِمْ، وَأَخْفَتْهُ هُوَ وَمُرْضِعَتَهُ فِي مُخْدَعِ النَّوْمِ، لأَنَّ يَهُوشَبْعَةَ كَانَتْ أُخْتَ أَخَزْيَا، وَابْنَةَ الْمَلِكِ يَهُورَامَ، وَزَوْجَةَ يَهُويَادَاعَ الْكَاهِنِ. وَهَكَذَا خَبَّأَتْ يَهُوشَبْعَةُ يُوآشَ مِنْ عَثَلْيَا، فَلَمْ تَقْتُلْهُ.

그러나 여호람왕의 딸인 [b]여호세바가 아하시야의 아들 요아스를 죽음 직전에 구출하여 그와 그 유모를 침실에 숨겨 두었기 때문에 아달랴가 그를 죽일 수 없었다. 여호세바는 여호람왕의 딸이자 아하시야의 누이이며 제사장 여호야다의 아내였다.

Maar Josabath, een dochter van koning Joram en dus een zuster van Ahazia, haalde Ahaziaʼs zoon Joas weg bij de zonen die zouden worden gedood en verstopte hem met een verzorgster in een beddenkamer. Deze Josabath was de vrouw van de priester Jojada. Zo kon Athalia de kleine Joas niet doden.

Men kungens dotter Joshavat lyckades ta och gömma undan Joash, Achasjas son, just när kungasönerna skulle dödas. Hon gömde honom och hans sköterska i ett sovrum.
