2 Chronicles 20:9

‘If evil comes on us, or the sword of judgment, or plague, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You (for Your Name and Your Presence is in this house) and we will cry out to You in our distress, and You will hear and save us.’

If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.

‘Should evil come upon us, the sword, or judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You (for Your name is in this house) and cry to You in our distress, and You will hear and deliver us.’

‘Suppose trouble comes on us. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a punishing sword, or plague or hunger. We’ll serve you. We’ll stand in front of this temple where your Name is. We’ll cry out to you when we’re in trouble. Then you will hear us. You will save us.’

‘If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.’

They said, ‘Whenever we are faced with any calamity such as war,[d] plague, or famine, we can come to stand in your presence before this Temple where your name is honored. We can cry out to you to save us, and you will hear us and rescue us.’

إِذَا أَصَابَنَا شَرٌّ، سَوَاءٌ سَيْفُ قَضَاءٍ أَمْ وَبَأٌ، أَمْ جُوعٌ، وَوَقَفْنَا أَمَامَ هَذَا الْهَيْكَلِ، وَفِي حَضْرَتِكَ، لأَنَّ اسْمَكَ حَالٌّ فِيهِ، وَاسْتَغَثْنَا بِكَ مِنْ ضِيقِنَا فَإِنَّكَ تَسْمَعُ وَتُخَلِّصُ.

Dengang sagde de: ‚Hvis der kommer en ulykke over os, hvad enten det er fjendehære, pest eller hungersnød, så vil vi komme til dette tempel, hvor du bor, og bede dig om hjælp, så du kan gribe ind og redde os.’

›Wenn uns ein Unglück trifft, wenn Krieg, Pest, Hungersnot oder ein anderes Strafgericht über uns hereinbricht, dann wird Gott uns erhören, wenn wir zu diesem Tempel kommen und hier zu ihm um Hilfe schreien. Er wird uns retten, denn er wohnt in diesem Tempel.‹

“Cuando nos sobrevenga una calamidad, o un castigo por medio de la espada, o la peste o el hambre, si nos congregamos ante ti, en este templo donde habitas, y clamamos a ti en medio de nuestra aflicción, tú nos escucharás y nos salvarás”.

« Si un malheur s’abat sur nous : une guerre, un châtiment, une épidémie ou la famine, nous viendrons nous tenir devant ce temple, devant toi, puisque ta présence est établie dans ce sanctuaire, et du fond de notre détresse, nous implorerons ton secours ; alors tu écouteras et tu sauveras[e] ! »

‘Kon may kalamidad nga mag-abot sa amon pareho sang inaway, baha,[c] kalalat-an, ukon gutom, magatindog kami sa imo presensya sa atubangan sang sini nga templo nga sa diin ginapadunggan ka. Magapangayo kami sa imo sang bulig sa amon kalisod, kag pamatian mo kami kag luwason.’

‘만일 전쟁이나 전염병이나 기근과 같은 재앙이 우리에게 닥쳤을 때 우리가 이 성전 앞에서 주께 부르짖으면 주께서는 우리의 기도를 들으시고 우리를 구해 주실 것이다.’

in oprecht vertrouwen dat wij in een tijd als deze—waarin wij oog in oog met oorlog, ziekten of hongersnood staan—voor deze tempel en voor U kunnen gaan staan, want U woont hier in deze tempel. Wij roepen tot U dat U ons zult horen en ons zult redden.

‘Se alguma desgraça nos atingir, seja o castigo da espada, seja a peste, seja a fome, nós nos colocaremos em tua presença diante deste templo, pois ele leva o teu nome, e clamaremos a ti em nossa angústia, e tu nos ouvirás e nos salvarás’.

Cremos sinceramente que em tempos de angústia, como este, sempre que formos confrontados com uma calamidade, seja guerra, doença ou fome, poderemos vir à tua presença, neste templo, e clamar que nos salves, ouças e socorras.

«Dacă va veni asupra noastră vreo nenorocire, sabia, judecata, molima sau foametea, iar noi vom sta înaintea acestei Case şi înaintea Ta, căci Numele Tău este în Casa aceasta şi dacă, în strâmtorarea noastră, vom striga către Tine, atunci Te rugăm să ne asculţi şi să ne izbăveşti!»

«Если к нам придёт беда, будь то меч наказания, мор или голод, мы предстанем пред Тобою перед этим храмом, в котором Ты пребываешь, и воззовём к Тебе в нашем горе, и Ты услышишь и спасёшь нас».

’Om olycka, krig, pest eller hungersnöd drabbar oss, kan vi stå här framför detta tempel och inför dig, vars namn templet bär, och ropa till dig i vår förtvivlan. Då ska du höra oss och rädda oss.’

‘หากมีภัยพิบัติตกมาถึง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสงคราม ภัยพิบัติ หรือการกันดารอาหาร ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายจะมาเข้าเฝ้าพระองค์ที่หน้าพระวิหารแห่งพระนามของพระองค์ และจะร้องทูลพระองค์ในยามทุกข์ลำเค็ญ แล้วพระองค์จะทรงสดับฟังและช่วยเหลือข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายให้พ้นภัย’

‘如果我们遭遇祸患，无论是战祸、瘟疫或饥荒，当我们在急难中站在这殿前向你呼求时，你必定垂听，施行拯救，因为你的名在这殿里。’

倘 有 祸 患 临 到 我 们 ， 或 刀 兵 灾 殃 ， 或 瘟 疫 饥 荒 ， 我 们 在 急 难 的 时 候 ， 站 在 这 殿 前 向 你 呼 求 ， 你 必 垂 听 而 拯 救 ， 因 为 你 的 名 在 这 殿 里 。

『如果我們遭遇禍患，無論是戰禍、瘟疫或饑荒，當我們在急難中站在這殿前向你呼求時，你必定垂聽，施行拯救，因為你的名在這殿裡。』
