2 Chronicles 18:9

Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting, each on his throne, arrayed in their robes; they were sitting at the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.

And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in their robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

وَكَانَ كُلٌّ مِنْ مَلِكِ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَيَهُوشَافَاطَ يَجْلِسُ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّهِ فِي سَاحَةٍ عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ بَابِ السَّامِرَةِ، وَقَدِ ارْتَدَيَا حُلَلَهُمَا الْمَلَكِيَّةَ وَالأَنْبِيَاءُ (الكَذَبَةُ) جَمِيعُهُمْ يَتَنَبَّأُونَ أَمَامَهُمَا.

I mellemtiden fortsatte Ahabs profeter med at profetere for de to konger, der sad klædt i deres kongekåber på hver sin trone på tærskepladsen nær ved byporten.

In ihren königlichen Gewändern setzten sich Ahab und Joschafat auf zwei Thronsessel, die man für sie auf einem großen Platz beim Stadttor von Samaria aufgestellt hatte. Dorthin kamen die 400 Propheten von Ahab. Ohne Ausnahme sagten sie den Königen einen erfolgreichen Ausgang des Feldzugs voraus.

De twee koningen zaten in vol ornaat op twee tronen die op een open plek bij de Samariapoort stonden. De zogenaamde profeten waren druk aan het profeteren.
