2 Chronicles 17:3

The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he [a]followed the example of his father (ancestor) David. He did not seek [to follow] the Baals [the false gods],

And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;

The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he [a]followed the example of his father David’s earlier days and did not seek the Baals,

The Lord was with Jehoshaphat. That’s because he lived the way King David had lived. He didn’t ask for advice from the gods that were named Baal.

وَكَانَ الرَّبُّ مَعَ يَهُوشَافَاطَ لأَنَّهُ سَارَ فِي طُرُقِ دَاوُدَ أَبِيهِ وَلَمْ يَضِلَّ وَرَاءَ الْبَعْلِيمِ.

Herren var med Joshafat, fordi han adlød Gud, ligesom hans forfar David[a] havde gjort før ham. Han dyrkede ikke afguderne,

Der Herr stand Joschafat bei, weil er dem Vorbild von David folgte und keine anderen Götter verehrte.

여호사밧이 [a]자기 아버지의 처음 행위를 본받아 우상을 섬기지 않았으므로 여호와께서 그와 함께하셨다.

De Here steunde Josafat omdat hij op dezelfde wijze leefde als zijn voorvader David en geen afgoden vereerde.

O Senhor esteve com Josafá porque, em seus primeiros anos, ele andou nos caminhos que seu predecessor Davi tinha seguido. Não consultou os baalins,

O Senhor estava com Jeosafá, pois ele teve um comportamento semelhante ao que teve David no princípio, e não prestou culto às imagens do deus Baal.

Herren var med Joshafat, därför att han under sin första tid följde sin far Davids föredöme och inte sökte baalsgudarna,

องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าสถิตกับเยโฮชาฟัท เพราะในตอนต้นรัชกาล เยโฮชาฟัททรงเจริญรอยตามดาวิดผู้เป็นบรรพบุรุษ ไม่ได้นมัสการพระบาอัล

耶和华与约沙法同在，因为他效法他祖先大卫起初所行的，没有寻求巴力，
