2 Chronicles 13:8

“And now you intend to assert yourselves against the kingdom of the Lord which is in the hands of the sons of David, since you are a great multitude and have with you the golden calves (idols) which Jeroboam made for you as gods.

And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the Lord in the hand of the sons of David; and ye be a great multitude, and there are with your golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods.

“So now you intend to resist the kingdom of the Lord [d]through the sons of David, [e]being a great multitude and having with you the golden calves which Jeroboam made for gods for you.

“Now you plan to stand up against the kingdom of the Lord. His kingdom is in the hands of men in David’s family line. It’s true that you have a huge army. You have the statues of the golden calves that Jeroboam made to be your gods.

“And now you plan to resist the kingdom of the Lord, which is in the hands of David’s descendants. You are indeed a vast army and have with you the golden calves that Jeroboam made to be your gods.

وَالآنَ أَنْتُمْ تَدَّعُونَ أَنَّكُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَى الثَّبَاتِ أَمَامَ قُوَّاتِ مَمْلَكَةِ الرَّبِّ الَّتِي أَرْسَاهَا بِيَدِ دَاوُدَ، حَاشِدِينَ جَيْشاً كَبِيراً، وَحَامِلِينَ مَعَكُمْ عُجُولَ ذَهَبٍ صَنَعَهَا لَكُمْ يَرُبْعَامُ لِتَكُونَ لَكُمْ آلِهَةً.

너희는 다윗왕의 후손이 다스리는 여호와의 나라를 대적할 셈이냐? 너희 군대가 우리보다 두 배나 많지만 너희는 여로보암이 너희 신으로 만든 금송아지 때문에 이미 저주를 받았다.
