1 Samuel 8:11

He said, “These will be the ways of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and appoint them for himself to his chariots and among his horsemen and they will run before his chariots.

And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.

He said, “This will be the [d]procedure of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and place them for himself in his chariots and among his horsemen and they will run before his chariots.

Samuel told them, “Here’s what the king who rules over you will expect to be done for him. He will take your sons. He’ll make them serve with his chariots and horses. They will run in front of his chariots.

He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will claim as his rights: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots.

“This is how a king will reign over you,” Samuel said. “The king will draft your sons and assign them to his chariots and his charioteers, making them run before his chariots.

وَقَالَ: «اسْمَعُوا، هَذَا مَا يَقْضِي بِهِ المَلِكُ الَّذِي سَيَحْكُمُ عَلَيْكُمْ: يُجَنِّدُ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَجْعَلُهُمْ فُرْسَاناً وَخُدَّاماً وَجُنُوداً يَرْكُضُونَ أَمَامَ مَرْكَبَاتِهِ

„Siden I vil have en konge, skal I vide, hvordan konger behandler deres undersåtter. Kongen vil indkalde jeres sønner til sin hær. Nogle skal bemande hans stridsvogne, andre bliver ryttersoldater, og nogle må løbe foran hans kongelige vogne.

Nagsiling si Samuel, “Amo ini ang pagahimuon sang hari nga magadumala sa inyo: kuhaon niya ang inyo mga anak nga lalaki kag himuon niya nga mga soldado. Ang iban sa ila himuon niya nga mga manugkarwahe, ang iban mga manugkabayo, kag ang iban magauna sa iya karwahe.

“여러분이 왕을 모시겠다고 계속 고집하면 그 왕은 여러분의 아들들을 징발하여 그의 전차와 말을 몰게 하고 그의 전차 앞에 달리게 할 것이며

‘U staat erop een koning te hebben? Laat mij u dan vertellen welke privileges die koning zal hebben. Uw zonen zullen dienstplichtig worden en voor hem dienst doen als bestuurders van strijdwagens, ruiters en voetknechten.
