1 Samuel 5:8

So they sent word and gathered all the lords (governors) of the Philistines to them and said, “What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel?” They answered, “Let the ark of the God of Israel be brought around to [c]Gath.” So they took the ark of the God of Israel there.

So they called together all the rulers of the Philistines. They asked them, “What should we do with the ark of the god of Israel?”The rulers answered, “Have the ark moved to Gath.” So they moved it.

فَاسْتَدْعَوْا أَقْطَابَ الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ جَمِيعَهُمْ قَائِلِينَ: «مَاذَا نَصْنَعُ بِتَابُوتِ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ؟» فَأَجَابُوهُمْ: «انْقُلُوهُ إِلَى جَتَّ». وَعِنْدَمَا نَقَلُوا تَابُوتَ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَى جَتَّ،

De koningen van de grote Filistijnse steden overlegden wat zij het beste met de ark konden doen. Zij besloten hem naar Gath te brengen.

De kallade dit filistéernas alla hövdingar och frågade dem vad de skulle göra med arken. Hövdingarna svarade att man skulle föra Israels Guds ark till Gat. Så fördes den till Gat.
