1 Samuel 5:7

When the men of Ashdod saw what had happened, they said, “The ark of the God of Israel must not remain with us, for His hand is heavy on us and on Dagon our god.”

And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

وَعِنْدَمَا تَبَيَّنَ أَهْلُ أَشْدُودَ مَا يَجْرِي قَالُوا: «لا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَمْكُثَ تَابُوتُ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ عِنْدَنَا، لأَنَّ وَطْأَةَ يَدِهِ قَدْ قَسَتْ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى دَاجُونَ إِلَهِنَا».

En voyant ce qui leur arrivait, les gens d’Ashdod déclarèrent : Le coffre du Dieu d’Israël ne restera pas plus longtemps chez nous, car il nous frappe très sévèrement, nous et Dagôn notre dieu.

Toen de mensen zich realiseerden wat er gebeurde, begonnen zij te roepen: ‘Wij kunnen de ark van de God van Israël niet langer hier houden. Wij zullen eraan ten onder gaan, samen met onze god Dagon.’

Och när folket förstod vad som höll på att hända, utropade de: ”Vi kan inte behålla Israels Guds ark här längre! Hans hand vilar tungt över oss och vår gud Dagon.”

เมื่อชาวอัชโดดตระหนักถึงเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นก็ร้องกันว่า “เราจะเก็บหีบพันธสัญญาของพระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอลไว้ที่นี่ต่อไปไม่ได้ เพราะพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ทรงลงโทษเราและพระดาโกนเทพเจ้าของเราอย่างหนัก”

亚实突人见此情形，就说：“以色列上帝的约柜不能留在我们这里，因为上帝重重地惩罚我们和我们的大衮神。”

亞實突人見此情形，就說：「以色列上帝的約櫃不能留在我們這裡，因為上帝重重地懲罰我們和我們的大袞神。」
