But when they got up early the next morning, behold, Dagon had [again] fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord, and his head and both palms of his hands were [lying] cut off on the threshold; only the trunk [portion] of [the idol of] Dagon was left on him.

And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.

وَفِي صَبَاحِ الْيَوْمِ التَّالِي عَثَرُوا عَلَى صَنَمِ دَاجُونَ مَطْرُوحاً عَلَى وَجْهِهِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ أَمَامَ تَابُوتِ الرَّبِّ، وَرَأْسُهُ وَيَدَاهُ مَقْطُوعَةٌ وَمُلْقَاةٌ عَلَى الْعَتَبَةِ، وَلَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْهُ سِوَى جِسْمِ السَّمَكَةِ.

그런데 그 다음날 아침에도 같은 일이 일어났다. 전날과 마찬가지로 다곤이 여호와의 궤 앞에 쓰러져 있었는데 이번에는 그 머리와 두 손목이 끊어져 문지방에 얹혀 있었고 몸통만 그대로 남아 있었다.

În dimineaţa următoare însă, trezindu-se devreme, au văzut că Dagon era din nou căzut cu faţa la pământ înaintea Chivotului Domnului. De data aceasta, capul şi ambele mâini ale lui erau tăiate pe prag, numai trunchiul rămânând din el.

次日早上起来，他们又发现大衮神像倒在耶和华的约柜前，面伏于地，头和双手都在门槛处折断了，只剩下躯干。
