1 Samuel 4:17

The messenger replied, “Israel has fled before the Philistines and there has also been a great slaughter among the people. Also your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God has been taken.”

And the messenger answered and said, Israel is fled before the Philistines, and there hath been also a great slaughter among the people, and thy two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God is taken.

The messenger answered, “Israel scattered before the Philistines. The defeat was catastrophic, with enormous losses. Your sons Hophni and Phinehas died, and the Chest of God was taken.”

Then the one who brought the news replied, “Israel has fled before the Philistines and there has also been a great slaughter among the people, and your two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God has been taken.”

The man who brought the news replied, “Israel ran away from the Philistines. Large numbers of men in the army were wounded or killed. Your two sons Hophni and Phinehas are also dead. And the ark of God has been captured.”

“Israel has been defeated by the Philistines,” the messenger replied. “The people have been slaughtered, and your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were also killed. And the Ark of God has been captured.”

فَأَجَابَ: «انْهَزَمَ الإِسْرَائِيلِيُّونَ أَمَامَ الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ، وَقُتِلَ عَدَدٌ كَبِيرٌ جِدّاً مِنَ الْجَيْشِ، وَمَاتَ أَيْضاً هُنَاكَ ابْنَاكَ حُفْنِي وَفِينْحَاسُ، وَأُخِذَ تَابُوتُ اللهِ».

„Israel måtte flygte for filistrene! Vi led store tab! Dine to sønner, Hofni og Pinehas, blev også dræbt, og Herrens Ark blev taget!”

Le messager lui répondit : Israël a pris la fuite devant les Philistins ; nous avons subi une terrible défaite ; même tes deux fils Hophni et Phinéas sont morts, et le coffre de Dieu a été pris.

Nagsabat ang tawo, “Nagpalalagyo ang mga Israelinhon sa mga Filistinhon kag madamo gid sa aton katawhan ang napatay, pati na ang duha mo ka anak nga si Hofni kag si Finehas. Kag ang Kahon sang Dios naagaw.”

그러자 그가 이렇게 대답하였다. “이스라엘군이 블레셋군에게 패하여 수많은 병사가 전사하였습니다. 그리고 당신의 두 아들 홉니와 비느하스도 죽었으며 살아 남은 자들은 도망하였고 하나님의 궤는 빼앗겼습니다.”

‘Israël is verslagen. Duizenden Israëlieten zijn gesneuveld, ook Hofni en Pinechas. En de ark is in handen van de Filistijnen gevallen.’

O mensageiro respondeu: “Israel fugiu dos filisteus, e houve uma grande matança entre os soldados. Também os seus dois filhos, Hofni e Finéias, estão mortos, e a arca de Deus foi tomada”.

Cel care aducea veştile a răspuns:– Israel a fugit dinaintea filistenilor şi oştirea a suferit o mare înfrângere. De asemenea, cei doi fii ai tăi, Hofni şi Fineas, au murit, iar Chivotul lui Dumnezeu a fost capturat.

Budbäraren svarade: ”Israeliterna har flytt för filistéerna, armén har lidit svåra förluster. Dina båda söner Hofni och Pinechas har också dödats och Guds ark har blivit tagen.”

ชายผู้นำข่าวมานั้นตอบว่า “อิสราเอลพ่ายแพ้ฟีลิสเตีย กองทัพของเราเสียหายมาก โฮฟนีและฟีเนหัสบุตรทั้งสองของท่านตายแล้ว และหีบพันธสัญญาของพระเจ้าก็ถูกยึดไป”

报信的答道：“以色列人被非利士人击溃，伤亡惨重，你的两个儿子何弗尼及非尼哈都死了，上帝的约柜也被掳走了。”

报 信 的 回 答 说 ： 以 色 列 人 在 非 利 士 人 面 前 逃 跑 ， 民 中 被 杀 的 甚 多 ！ 你 的 两 个 儿 子 何 弗 尼 、 非 尼 哈 也 都 死 了 ， 并 且 神 的 约 柜 被 掳 去 。

報信的答道：「以色列人被非利士人擊潰，傷亡慘重，你的兩個兒子何弗尼及非尼哈都死了，上帝的約櫃也被擄走了。」
