1 Samuel 25:7

Now I have heard that you have shearers. Now your shepherds have been with us and we have not harmed them, nor were they missing anything all the time they were in Carmel.

And now I have heard that thou hast shearers: now thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.

“ ‘I hear that you are clipping the wool off your sheep. When your shepherds were with us, we treated them well. The whole time they were at Carmel nothing that belonged to them was stolen.

“‘Now I hear that it is sheep-shearing time. When your shepherds were with us, we did not mistreat them, and the whole time they were at Carmel nothing of theirs was missing.

‘“Now I hear that it is sheep-shearing time. When your shepherds were with us, we did not ill-treat them, and the whole time they were at Carmel nothing of theirs was missing.

I am told that it is sheep-shearing time. While your shepherds stayed among us near Carmel, we never harmed them, and nothing was ever stolen from them.

لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ أَنَّ عِنْدَكَ جَزَّازِينَ. حِينَ كَانَ رُعَاتُكَ بَيْنَنَا لَمْ نُؤْذِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُفْقَدْ لَهُمْ شَيْءٌ طَوَالَ الأَيَّامِ الَّتِي كَانُوا فِيهَا فِي الْكَرْمَلِ.

Jeg har hørt, at du holder fåreklipningsfest. Dengang dine hyrder holdt til i nærheden af os i Karmel, gjorde vi dem aldrig fortræd, og der blev aldrig stjålet noget fra dem.

Ich habe gehört, dass du deine Schafe scheren lässt. In Karmel waren deine Hirten und die Herden immer mit uns zusammen. Nie haben wir ihnen etwas zuleide getan, und kein einziges Tier ist ihnen in dieser Zeit verloren gegangen.

J’apprends qu’on fait la tonte de tes moutons. Tant que tes bergers ont été avec nous, nous ne leur avons fait aucun tort. Rien n’a été dérobé de leur troupeau pendant tout leur séjour à Karmel.

Nakabalita ako nga nagapagunting ka sang imo mga karnero. Sang kaupod namon ang imo mga manugbantay sang karnero sa Carmel, wala namon sila pagpintasi kag wala sing may nadula sa ila.

Er is mij verteld dat u met uw herders aan het scheren bent. Toen uw herders onder ons verbleven, hebben wij hen nooit kwaad gedaan en zij zijn nooit iets tekort gekomen toen zij in Karmel verbleven.

Jag hörde att du håller på att klippa dina får. Nu är det så att dina herdar under en tid har bott ibland oss och vi har aldrig skadat dem. Ingen har tagit något från dem medan de var i Karmel.
