1 Samuel 25:26

So now, my lord, as the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, since the Lord has prevented you from shedding blood, and from avenging yourself by your own hand, now then let your enemies and those who seek to do evil to my lord, be as [self-destructive as] Nabal.

Now therefore, my lord, as the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, seeing the Lord hath withholden thee from coming to shed blood, and from avenging thyself with thine own hand, now let thine enemies, and they that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.

“Now therefore, my lord, as the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, since the Lord has restrained you from [q]shedding blood, and from [r]avenging yourself by your own hand, now then let your enemies and those who seek evil against my lord, be as Nabal.

Sir, the Lord has kept you from killing Nabal and his men. He has kept you from using your own hands to get even. So may what’s about to happen to Nabal happen to all your enemies. May it happen to everyone who wants to harm you. And may it happen just as surely as the Lord your God and you are alive.

And now, my lord, as surely as the Lord your God lives and as you live, since the Lord has kept you from bloodshed and from avenging yourself with your own hands, may your enemies and all who are intent on harming my lord be like Nabal.

وَالآنَ أُقْسِمُ لَكَ بِالرَّبِّ الْحَيِّ وَبِحَيَاتِكَ، إِنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ جَنَّبَكَ سَفْكَ الدِّمَاءِ وَالثَّأْرَ لِنَفْسِكَ، وَلْيَكُنْ أَعْدَاؤُكَ وَمَنْ يَسْعَوْنَ فِي هَلاكِكَ، كَنَابَالَ.

Herre, siden Gud har bevaret dig fra at tage sagen i din egen hånd og myrde Nabal, beder jeg af hjertet til, at det må gå dine fjender lige så elendigt, som det skulle have gået Nabal.

Doch so wahr der Herr lebt und du lebendig vor mir stehst: Der Herr selbst hat dich aufgehalten. Er will nicht zulassen, dass du dich rächst und so zum Mörder wirst. Nabal wird seine gerechte Strafe schon bekommen. Und wie ihm soll es auch deinen Feinden ergehen und allen, die Böses gegen dich im Schilde führen.

Mais maintenant, mon seigneur, aussi vrai que l’Eternel est vivant et que tu l’es toi-même, c’est l’Eternel qui t’a empêché de t’engager dans la voie du meurtre et de te venger toi-même. Que les ennemis de mon seigneur et ceux qui lui veulent du mal deviennent comme Nabal !

“Karon, ginpunggan ka sang Ginoo sa pagtimalos kag sa pagpamatay. Ginasumpa ko sa buhi nga Ginoo kag sa imo nga kabay pa nga ang imo mga kaaway kag ang tanan nga gusto maghalit sa imo mangin pareho ang ila dangatan kay Nabal.

당신이 직접 당신의 손으로 사람을 죽여 보복하는 것을 여호와께서는 금하셨습니다. 그러므로 내가 당신과 살아 계신 여호와의 이름으로 분명히 말하지만 당신의 모든 원수들과 당신을 해하려고 하는 자들은 나발처럼 벌을 받을 것입니다.

นายท่านเจ้าข้า เนื่องจากองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงป้องกันไม่ให้มือของนายท่านเปื้อนเลือดด้วยการลงมือแก้แค้นเอง องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงพระชนม์อยู่แน่ฉันใดและท่านมีชีวิตอยู่แน่ฉันใด ขอให้ศัตรูและคนทั้งปวงที่มุ่งร้ายต่อนายท่านจงเป็นเหมือนนาบาลฉันนั้น

我主啊，既然耶和华阻止你亲手杀人报仇，我就凭永活的耶和华和你的性命起誓，愿你的仇敌和伤害你的人都像拿八一样没有好下场。

我 主 啊 ， 耶 和 华 既 然 阻 止 你 亲 手 报 仇 ， 取 流 血 的 罪 ， 所 以 我 指 着 永 生 的 耶 和 华 ， 又 敢 在 你 面 前 起 誓 说 ： 愿 你 的 仇 敌 和 谋 害 你 的 人 都 像 拿 八 一 样 。

我主啊，既然耶和華阻止你親手殺人報仇，我就憑永活的耶和華和你的性命起誓，願你的仇敵和傷害你的人都像拿八一樣沒有好下場。
