1 Samuel 19:6

Saul listened to Jonathan and swore [an oath], “As the Lord lives, he shall not be put to death.”

And Saul hearkened unto the voice of Jonathan: and Saul sware, As the Lord liveth, he shall not be slain.

Saul listened to Jonathan and said, “You’re right. As God lives, David lives. He will not be killed.”

Saul listened to the voice of Jonathan, and Saul vowed, “As the Lord lives, he shall not be put to death.”

Saul paid attention to Jonathan. Saul made a promise. He said, “You can be sure that the Lord lives. And you can be just as sure that David will not be put to death.”

فَاقْتَنَعَ شَاوُلُ بِكَلامِ يُونَاثَانَ، وَقَالَ: «أُقْسِمُ بِاللهِ الْحَيِّ، لَنْ يُقْتَلَ دَاوُدُ».

Til sidst lod Saul sig overtale, og han svor: „Så sandt Herren lever, skal David ikke blive dræbt.”

Da ließ Saul sich von Jonatan umstimmen. Er schwor: »So wahr der Herr lebt: David soll nicht getötet werden.«

사울은 요나단의 말을 듣고 “여호와께서 살아 계시는 한 내가 그를 죽이지 않겠다” 하고 맹세하였다.

Ten slotte gaf Saul zijn ongelijk toe en zwoer: ‘Zo waar de Here leeft, ik zal hem in leven laten.’

Saul atendeu a Jônatas e fez este juramento: “Juro pelo nome do Senhor que Davi não será morto”.

Saul acabou por concordar e prometeu: “Tão certo como vive o Senhor que não o matarei!”

Saul a ascultat de Ionatan şi a jurat:– Viu este Domnul că David nu va fi ucis.

Saul lyssnade på Jonatan och lovade med ed: ”Så sant Herren lever, David ska inte dödas.”

扫罗听了约拿单的话，就凭永活的耶和华起誓说：“我不杀大卫。”
