1 Samuel 19:5

For he took his life in his hand and killed the Philistine, and the Lord brought about a great victory for all Israel; you saw it and rejoiced. Why then would you sin against innocent blood by killing David without a cause?”

لَقَدْ عَرَّضَ حَيَاتَهُ لِلْخَطَرِ عِنْدَمَا قَتَلَ الْفِلِسْطِينِيَّ، فَأَجْرَى الرَّبُّ خَلاصاً عَظِيماً لِجَمِيعِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. وَقَدْ شَهِدْتَ ذَلِكَ وَابْتَهَجْتَ بِهِ. فَلِمَاذَا تَقْتُلُ دَاوُدَ مِنْ غَيْرِ دَاعٍ وَتُسِيءُ إِلَى دَمٍ بَرِيءٍ؟»

他冒著生命危險去殺非利士人，耶和華使以色列人大獲全勝，當時你看見了，非常歡喜，現在為什麼要犯罪，枉殺無辜的大衛呢？」
