1 Samuel 12:9

But when they forgot the Lord their God, He sold them into the hand of [b]Sisera, commander of Hazor’s army, and into the hand of the Philistines and of the king of Moab, and they fought against them.

“They soon forgot their God, so he sold them off to Sisera, commander of Hazor’s army, later to a hard life under the Philistines, and still later to the king of Moab. They had to fight for their lives.

“But the people forgot the Lord their God. So he put them under the control of Sisera. Sisera was the commander of the army of Hazor. The Lord also put the Israelites under the control of the Philistines and the king of Moab. All those nations fought against Israel.

“But they forgot the Lord their God; so he sold them into the hand of Sisera, the commander of the army of Hazor, and into the hands of the Philistines and the king of Moab, who fought against them.

وَعِنْدَمَا تَنَاسَوْا الرَّبَّ إِلَهَهُمْ سَلَّطَ عَلَيْهِمْ سِيسَرَا قَائِدَ جَيْشِ حَاصُورَ وَالْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ، وَمَلِكَ مُوآبَ فَحَارَبُوهُمْ.

Men det varede ikke længe, før folket havde glemt Herren, deres Gud, og derfor lod han kong Hatzors hærfører, Sisera, og filistrene og Moabs konge besejre dem.

Doch schon bald vergaßen sie den Herrn, ihren Gott, und alles, was er für sie getan hatte. Darum gab er sie in die Gewalt ihrer Feinde. Sisera, der Heerführer des Königs von Hazor in Kanaan, die Philister und der König der Moabiter kämpften gegen sie.

Maar zij vergaten de Here, hun God, al snel. Daarom liet Hij hen verliezen van Sisera, de bevelhebber van het leger van de stad Hazor, van de Filistijnen en van de koning van Moab.

“Seus antepassados, porém, se esqueceram do Senhor seu Deus; então ele os vendeu a Sísera, o comandante do exército de Hazor, aos filisteus e ao rei de Moabe, que lutaram contra eles.

Men folket glömde snart Herren, sin Gud, och därför överlämnade han dem åt Sisera, generalen i Hasors här, och åt filistéerna och åt Moabs kung som alla förde krig mot Israel.
