1 Samuel 10:19

But today you have rejected your God, who Himself saves you from all your disasters and distresses; yet you have said, ‘No! Set a king over us.’ Now then, present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your families (clans).”

And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes, and by your thousands.

But you have today rejected your God, who delivers you from all your calamities and your distresses; yet you have [h]said, ‘No, but set a king over us!’ Now therefore, present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your clans.”

But now you have turned your backs on your God. He saves you out of all your trouble and suffering. In spite of that, you have said, ‘We refuse to listen. Place a king over us.’ So now gather together to meet with the Lord. Do it tribe by tribe and family group by family group.”

وَلَكِنَّكُمُ الْيَوْمَ تَنَكَّرْتُمْ لإِلَهِكُمْ، مُخَلِّصِكُمْ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْمُسِيئِينَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمِنْ مُضَايِقِيكُمْ، وَقُلْتُمْ لَهُ: نَصِّبْ عَلَيْنَا مَلِكاً. وَالآنَ امْثُلُوا أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ حَسَبَ أَسْبَاطِكُمْ وَعَشَائِرِكُمْ».

Ich, euer Gott, habe euch seither immer wieder aus euren Nöten und Bedrängnissen herausgeholfen, und doch lehnt ihr nun meine Führung ab und verlangt, dass ich einen König über euch einsetzen soll. Gut, ihr sollt bekommen, was ihr wollt!‹ Stellt euch nun geordnet nach Stämmen und Sippen vor dem Herrn auf.«

Men nu har ni förkastat denne er Gud som räddat er ur alla era olyckor och svårigheter och ni säger: ’Vi vill ha en kung i stället!’ Så kom nu fram inför Herren, varje stam för sig och varje släkt för sig!”

你 们 今 日 却 厌 弃 了 救 你 们 脱 离 一 切 灾 难 的 神 ， 说 ： 求 你 立 一 个 王 治 理 我 们 。 现 在 你 们 应 当 按 着 支 派 、 宗 族 都 站 在 耶 和 华 面 前 。

但你們現在卻背棄了拯救你們脫離一切災難和困苦的上帝，竟然對祂說，『我們要你立一位王來統治我們。』所以你們現在就按著支派宗族站在耶和華面前吧！」
