1 Kings 19:10

He said, “I have been very [c]zealous (impassioned) for the Lord God of hosts (armies) [proclaiming what is rightfully and uniquely His]; for the sons of Israel have abandoned (broken) Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. And I, only I, am left; and they seek to take away my life.”

And he said, I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

“I’ve been working my heart out for the God-of-the-Angel-Armies,” said Elijah. “The people of Israel have abandoned your covenant, destroyed the places of worship, and murdered your prophets. I’m the only one left, and now they’re trying to kill me.” 11-12 Then he was told, “Go, stand on the mountain at attention before God. God will pass by.”A hurricane wind ripped through the mountains and shattered the rocks before God, but God wasn’t to be found in the wind; after the wind an earthquake, but God wasn’t in the earthquake; and after the earthquake fire, but God wasn’t in the fire; and after the fire a gentle and quiet whisper. 13-14 When Elijah heard the quiet voice, he muffled his face with his great cloak, went to the mouth of the cave, and stood there. A quiet voice asked, “So Elijah, now tell me, what are you doing here?” Elijah said it again, “I’ve been working my heart out for God, the God-of-the-Angel-Armies, because the people of Israel have abandoned your covenant, destroyed your places of worship, and murdered your prophets. I’m the only one left, and now they’re trying to kill me.” 15-18 God said, “Go back the way you came through the desert to Damascus. When you get there anoint Hazael; make him king over Aram. Then anoint Jehu son of Nimshi; make him king over Israel. Finally, anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet. Anyone who escapes death by Hazael will be killed by Jehu; and anyone who escapes death by Jehu will be killed by Elisha. Meanwhile, I’m preserving for myself seven thousand souls: the knees that haven’t bowed to the god Baal, the mouths that haven’t kissed his image.”

He said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord, the God of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars and killed Your prophets with the sword. And I alone am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”

He replied, “Lord God who rules over all, I’ve been very committed to you. The Israelites have turned their backs on your covenant. They have torn down your altars. They’ve put your prophets to death with their swords. I’m the only one left. And they are trying to kill me.”

He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.”

Elijah replied, “I have zealously served the Lord God Almighty. But the people of Israel have broken their covenant with you, torn down your altars, and killed every one of your prophets. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me, too.”

فَأَجَابَ: «غِرْتُ غَيْرَةً لِلرَّبِّ الإِلَهِ الْقَدِيرِ، لأَنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ تَنَكَّرُوا لِعَهْدِكَ وَهَدَمُوا مَذَابِحَكَ وَقَتَلُوا أَنْبِيَاءَكَ بِالسَّيْفِ، وَبَقِيتُ وَحْدِي. وَهَا هُمْ يَبْغُونَ قَتْلِي أَيْضاً»

„Herre, almægtige Gud!” sagde Elias. „Jeg har brugt alle kræfter på at kæmpe for din sag. Israels folk overholder jo ikke den pagt, du indgik med dem, og de har revet dine altre ned og dræbt dine profeter. Jeg er den eneste, der er tilbage, og nu vil de også slå mig ihjel.”

Elia antwortete: »Ach, Herr, du allmächtiger Gott, mit welchem Eifer habe ich versucht, die Israeliten zu dir zurückzubringen! Denn sie haben den Bund mit dir gebrochen, deine Altäre niedergerissen und deine Propheten ermordet. Nur ich bin übrig geblieben, ich allein. Und nun trachten sie auch mir nach dem Leben!«

Il répondit : J’ai ardemment défendu la cause de l’Eternel, le Dieu des armées célestes, car les Israélites ont abandonné ton alliance et ils ont renversé tes autels, ils ont massacré tes prophètes ; je suis le seul qui reste, et les voilà qui cherchent à me prendre la vie[d].

Nagsabat siya, “O Ginoong Dios nga Makagagahom, nagaalagad gid ako sing matutom sa imo. Pero ginsikway sang mga Israelinhon ang ila kasugtanan sa imo, gin-guba nila ang imo mga halaran, kag ginpamatay ang imo mga propeta. Ako na lang isa ang nabilin, kag ginatinguhaan man nila ako nga patyon.”

그래서 엘리야는 이렇게 대답하였다. “전능하신 하나님 여호와여, 나는 주를 위해 열심히 일해 왔습니다. 그러나 이스라엘 백성들은 주와 맺은 계약을 어기고 주의 제단을 헐며 주의 예언자들을 모두 죽이고 살아 남은 사람은 나 하나밖에 없는데 그들은 나마저 죽이려고 합니다.”

Ele respondeu: “Tenho sido muito zeloso pelo Senhor, o Deus dos Exércitos. Os israelitas rejeitaram a tua aliança, quebraram os teus altares, e mataram os teus profetas à espada. Sou o único que sobrou, e agora também estão procurando matar-me”.

Elias respondeu: “Tenho sido muito zeloso pelo Senhor, Deus dos exércitos, mas o povo de Israel quebrou a aliança que fizeste com ele, derrubou os teus altares e matou os teus profetas; só eu fiquei e ainda procuram matar-me.”

Он ответил:– Я ревностно служил Господу, Богу Сил19:10 Евр.: «Элохей Цеваот». Также в ст. 14.. Израильтяне отвергли завет с Тобой, разрушили Твои жертвенники, а Твоих пророков убили мечом. Остался лишь я один, и они пытаются убить и меня.

”Jag har gjort mitt yttersta för Herren, härskarornas Gud”, svarade han. ”Men Israels folk har brutit sitt förbund med dig. De har rivit ner dina altaren, och med svärd dödat dina profeter. Jag är den ende som är kvar, och nu vill de döda mig också.”

以利亚回答说：“我一向热心事奉万军之上帝耶和华。但以色列人背弃你的约，拆毁你的祭坛，残杀你的先知。现在只剩下我一个人，他们还要杀我。”
