1 Kings 17:12

But she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I have no bread, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in the jar. See, I am gathering a few sticks so that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it [as our last meal] and die.”

And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

She said, “I swear, as surely as your God lives, I don’t have so much as a biscuit. I have a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a bottle; you found me scratching together just enough firewood to make a last meal for my son and me. After we eat it, we’ll die.” 13-14 Elijah said to her, “Don’t worry about a thing. Go ahead and do what you’ve said. But first make a small biscuit for me and bring it back here. Then go ahead and make a meal from what’s left for you and your son. This is the word of the God of Israel: ‘The jar of flour will not run out and the bottle of oil will not become empty before God sends rain on the land and ends this drought.’” 15-16 And she went right off and did it, did just as Elijah asked. And it turned out as he said—daily food for her and her family. The jar of meal didn’t run out and the bottle of oil didn’t become empty: God’s promise fulfilled to the letter, exactly as Elijah had delivered it!

But she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I have no [e]bread, only a handful of flour in the [f]bowl and a little oil in the jar; and behold, I am gathering [g]a few sticks that I may go in and prepare for me and my son, that we may eat it and die.”

“I don’t have any bread,” she replied. “And that’s just as sure as the Lord your God is alive. All I have is a small amount of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I’m gathering a few sticks to take home. I’ll make one last meal for myself and my son. We’ll eat it. After that, we’ll die.”

“As surely as the Lord your God lives,” she replied, “I don’t have any bread—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it—and die.”

But she said, “I swear by the Lord your God that I don’t have a single piece of bread in the house. And I have only a handful of flour left in the jar and a little cooking oil in the bottom of the jug. I was just gathering a few sticks to cook this last meal, and then my son and I will die.”

فَأَجَابَتْهُ: «حَيٌّ هُوَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَدَيَّ كَعْكَةٌ، إِنَّمَا حَفْنَةُ دَقِيقٍ فِي الْجَرَّةِ، وَقَلِيلٌ مِنَ الزَّيْتِ فِي قَارُورَةٍ. وَهَا أَنَا أَجْمَعُ بَعْضَ عِيدَانِ الْحَطَبِ لِآخُذَهَا وَأُعِدَّ لِي ولاِبْنِي طَعَاماً نَأْكُلُهُ ثُمَّ نَمُوتُ».

„Jeg sværger ved Herren, din Gud, at jeg ikke har brød i huset!” svarede enken. „I melkrukken er der kun en håndfuld tilbage, og olivenolien er næsten brugt op. Jeg var netop i færd med at samle brænde for at bage et brød til mig og min søn af det sidste mel. Når vi har spist det, må vi lægge os til at dø.”

Da blieb die Frau stehen und sagte: »Ich habe keinen Krümel Brot mehr, sondern nur noch eine Handvoll Mehl im Topf und ein paar Tropfen Öl im Krug. Das schwöre ich bei dem Herrn, deinem Gott. Gerade habe ich einige Holzscheite gesammelt. Ich will nun nach Hause gehen und die letzte Mahlzeit für mich und meinen Sohn zubereiten. Danach werden wir wohl verhungern.«

Mais elle lui répondit : Aussi vrai que l’Eternel, ton Dieu, est vivant, je n’ai pas le moindre morceau de pain chez moi. Il me reste tout juste une poignée de farine dans un pot, et un peu d’huile dans une jarre. J’étais en train de ramasser deux bouts de bois. Je vais rentrer et préparer ce qui me reste pour moi et pour mon fils. Quand nous l’aurons mangé, nous n’aurons plus qu’à attendre la mort.

그러자 그 과부는 이렇게 대답하였다. “살아 계신 당신의 하나님 여호와의 이름으로 맹세하지만 나에게는 빵이 하나도 없습니다. 내가 가진 것이라고는 밀가루 한 움큼과 약간의 기름뿐입니다. 나는 나무를 조금 주워다가 내 아들과 함께 마지막으로 음식을 만들어 먹으려고 합니다. 우리는 이것만 먹고 나면 굶어 죽게 될 것입니다.”

Estou colhendo uns dois gravetos para levar para casa e preparar uma refeição para mim e para o meu filho, para que a comamos e depois morramos.”

Mas ela disse: “Tão certo como vive o Senhor, teu Deus, que não tenho um só pedaço de pão em casa. Tenho apenas uma mão-cheia de farinha e uma pequena porção de azeite no fundo duma botija. Estava justamente a juntar alguns pedaços de lenha para cozinhar a minha última refeição e depois deixar-me morrer de fome com o meu filho.”

– Viu este Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, i-a răspuns ea, că nu am pâine, ci doar un pumn de făină într-un vas şi puţin ulei într-un urcior. ”Så sant Herren, din Gud, lever: jag har inte har en enda brödbit”, svarade hon. ”Jag har bara en handfull mjöl kvar och lite olja i krukan. Jag skulle just samla ihop lite ved för att laga en måltid åt mig och min son, för att sedan kommer vi att dö.”

หญิงนั้นตอบว่า “พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของท่านทรงพระชนม์อยู่แน่ฉันใด ดิฉันไม่มีขนมปังเลยสักชิ้นฉันนั้น มีเพียงแป้งหยิบมือเดียวในหม้อ กับน้ำมันก้นไห นี่ก็กำลังเก็บฟืนจะเอาไปทำอาหารกินกับลูกชาย จากนั้นก็จะต้องอดตาย”

她说：“我凭你的上帝——永活的耶和华起誓，我没有饼，我坛里只有一把面，瓶里只有一点油。我来捡柴就是要回去做饼，与儿子吃完后，就只能等死了。”

他 说 ： 我 指 着 永 生 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 神 起 誓 ， 我 没 有 饼 ， ? 内 只 有 一 把 面 ， 瓶 里 只 有 一 点 油 ； 我 现 在 找 两 根 柴 ， 回 家 要 为 我 和 我 儿 子 做 饼 ； 我 们 吃 了 ， 死 就 死 罢 ！

她說：「我憑你的上帝——永活的耶和華起誓，我沒有餅，我罈裡只有一把麵，瓶裡只有一點油。我來撿柴就是要回去做餅，與兒子吃完後，就只能等死了。」
