1 Corinthians 1:20

Where is the wise man (philosopher)? Where is the scribe (scholar)? Where is the debater (logician, orator) of this age? Has God not exposed the foolishness of this world’s wisdom?

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

Porque ¿qué es de los sabios? ¿Qué de los eruditos? ¿Qué de los que en estos tiempos todo lo discuten? Es como si Dios hubiera trastornado la sabiduría de nuestro mundo y la hubiera convertido en insensatez,

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where are the great thinkers of our time? Hasn’t God made the wisdom of the world foolish?

So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish.

Unsa na man unyay kapuslanan sa mga maalamon, sa mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan, ug sa mga maayong makiglantugi niini nga panahon? Kay gipakita man sa Dios nga binuang lang ang kalibotanon nga kaalam.

Kde jste, filozofové, znalci zákona a všichni učenci? Nedokázal Bůh, jak pošetilá je všechna moudrost světa?

Jamen, hvad så med alle verdens vismænd? Hvad med alle de lærde, alle filosofferne? Ved I ikke, at Gud har afsløret denne verdens visdom som det, den i virkeligheden er—tåbelighed?

Was aber haben sie dann noch zu sagen, all die gebildeten Leute dieser Welt, die Kenner der heiligen Schriften und die Philosophen? Hat Gott ihre Weisheiten nicht als Unsinn entlarvt?

אלוהים העמיד באור מגוחך את המלומדים, החוקרים, המדענים ומנהיגי העולם, והוכיח שאין כל ערך לחכמתם.

Ano karon ang pulos sang mga maalam, sang mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan, kag sang mga puwerte magdibati sa sini nga panahon? Kay ginpakita sang Dios nga kabuangan lang ang kalibutanon nga kaalam.

Ali što je s učenim glavama, s ljudima vičnim raspravama, znanstvenicima? Bog je učinio da se njihova mudrost čini beskorisnom ludošću.

Dovʼè il saggio? Dovʼè lʼintellettuale? Dovʼè lʼesperto in dibattiti sugli argomenti di grande attualità? Dio li ha fatti apparire tutti stupidi e ha dimostrato che la loro sapienza non serve a niente.

그렇다면 지혜 있는 사람이 어디 있으며 학자가 어디 있습니까? 이 시대에 철학자가 어디 있습니까? 하나님께서는 세상의 모든 지혜를 어리석게 하시지 않았습니까?

Hva hender med all verdens vise og lærde mennesker? Hva hender med filosofene og de store tenkerne? Jo, Gud har vist at deres visdom ikke er noe annet enn rent nonsens.

Waar blijven dan de grote denkers, de godsdienstige leiders en de beroemde redenaars van deze tijd? Heeft God niet alle wijsheid van deze wereld als dwaasheid aan de kaak gesteld?

Gdzie są ci wszyscy mędrcy, uczeni i wybitni znawcy spraw tego świata? Czy Bóg nie udowodnił, że cała ta wielka mądrość jest zwykłą głupotą?

Onde está o sábio? Onde está o erudito? Onde está o questionador desta era? Acaso não tornou Deus louca a sabedoria deste mundo?

O que dizer então desses sábios, desses especialistas na Lei, desses comentadores das grandes questões mundiais? Deus tornou a sua sabedoria em loucura.

Unde este înţeleptul? Unde este cărturarul[e]? Unde este polemistul[f] acestui veac? N-a prostit Dumnezeu înţelepciunea lumii?

Kde ste, filozofi, znalci zákona a všetci učenci? Či Boh nedokázal, aká pochabá je všetka múdrosť sveta?

Så var finns nu de visa? Och de skriftlärda och denna tidsålderns tänkare? Har inte Gud gjort denna världens vishet till dårskap?

Yuko wapi mwenye hekima? Yuko wapi mwandishi? Yuko wapi bingwa wa mjadala wa nyakati hizi? Je, Mungu hakufanya hekima ya ulimwengu huu kuwa ni ujinga?

ไหนล่ะปราชญ์? ไหนล่ะผู้รู้? นักปรัชญาของยุคนี้อยู่ที่ไหนกัน? พระเจ้าได้ทรงกระทำให้สติปัญญาของโลกโง่เขลาไปไม่ใช่หรือ?

这个世代所谓的智者、学者、雄辩家在哪里？上帝岂不是把这世上的智慧都变成愚昧了吗？

智 慧 人 在 那 里 ？ 文 士 在 那 里 ？ 这 世 上 的 辩 士 在 那 里 ？ 神 岂 不 是 叫 这 世 上 的 智 慧 变 成 愚 拙 麽 ？

這個世代所謂的智者、學者、雄辯家在哪裡？上帝豈不是把這世上的智慧都變成愚昧了嗎？
