Then David’s fame spread into all the lands; and the Lord caused all nations to fear him.

And the fame of David went out into all lands; and the Lord brought the fear of him upon all nations.

David was soon famous all over the place, far and near; and God put the fear of God into the godless nations.

فَذَاعَ اسْمُ دَاوُدَ فِي كُلِّ الْبِلادِ، وَجَعَلَ الرَّبُّ هَيْبَتَهُ تَطْغَى عَلى جَمِيعِ الأُمَمِ.

Davids ry spredtes nu vidt omkring. Herren sørgede for, at alle de omkringboende folkeslag fik stor respekt for kong David.
