1 Chronicles 10:13

So Saul died for his [b]trespass which he committed against the Lord, for his failure to keep the word of the Lord; and also because he consulted a medium [regarding a spirit of the dead], to inquire of her,

So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;

So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against the Lord, because of the word of the Lord which he did not keep; and also because he asked counsel of a medium, making inquiry of it,

Saul died because he wasn’t faithful to the Lord. He didn’t obey the word of the Lord. He even asked for advice from a person who gets messages from people who have died.

وَهَكَذَا مَاتَ شَاوُلُ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ خِيَانَتِهِ وَعِصْيَانِهِ لِلرَّبِّ، وَلأَنَّهُ لَجَأَ إِلَى الْجَانِ طَلَباً لِلْمَشُورَةِ.

Saul døde på grund af sin utroskab mod Herren. Han adlød ikke Herrens befalinger, men søgte endog råd hos en åndemaner.

So kam Saul ums Leben, weil er dem Herrn untreu geworden war und seine Weisungen missachtet hatte. Auch hatte er den Geist eines Verstorbenen befragt,
