NIV — New International Version Bible (NIV)
NPK — Nádej pre kazdého (NPK)
Verse 1
So King Solomon ruled over all Israel.
Bratia moji milí, milujem vás a túžim po vás, ste mojou radosťou aj odmenou. Preto zostaňte Pánovi verní, moji drahí.
Verse 2
And these were his chief officials:
Azariah son of Zadok—the priest;
Evodiu a Syntychu veľmi prosím, aby sa zmierili a nehádali.
Verse 3
Elihoreph and Ahijah, sons of Shisha—secretaries;
Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud—recorder;
A teba, môj verný druh Syzigos, prosím, pomôž im v tom. Veď obe mi horlivo pomáhali pri šírení Kristovho posolstva spolu s Klementom a ostatnými, ktorých Pán zapísal do knihy života.
Verse 4
Benaiah son of Jehoiada—commander in chief;
Zadok and Abiathar—priests;
Radujte sa v Pánovi vždycky! Znovu vravím: radujte sa!
Verse 5
Azariah son of Nathan—in charge of the district governors;
Zabud son of Nathan—a priest and adviser to the king;
Nech všetci vidia, že ste zhovievaví a láskaví! Pamätajte na to, že Pán čoskoro príde.
Verse 6
Ahishar—palace administrator;
Adoniram son of Abda—in charge of forced labor.
Verse 7
Solomon had twelve district governors over all Israel, who supplied provisions for the king and the royal household. Each one had to provide supplies for one month in the year.
Uvidíte, že vaše srdce zaplaví pokoj, aký si rozum ľudský nevie ani predstaviť.
Verse 8
These are their names:
Ben-Hur—in the hill country of Ephraim;
Verse 9
Ben-Deker—in Makaz, Shaalbim, Beth Shemesh and Elon Bethhanan;
A Boh, darca pokoja, bude s vami.
Vďačnosť je dar
Verse 10
Ben-Hesed—in Arubboth (Sokoh and all the land of Hepher were his);
Verse 11
Ben-Abinadab—in Naphoth Dor (he was married to Taphath daughter of Solomon);
Verse 12
Baana son of Ahilud—in Taanach and Megiddo, and in all of Beth Shan next to Zarethan below Jezreel, from Beth Shan to Abel Meholah across to Jokmeam;
Viem žiť v odriekaní aj v hojnosti, som naučený byť sýty aj trpieť hladom.
Verse 13
Ben-Geber—in Ramoth Gilead (the settlements of Jair son of Manasseh in Gilead were his, as well as the region of Argob in Bashan and its sixty large walled cities with bronze gate bars);
To všetko môžem v Kristovi, ktorý mi dáva silu.
Verse 14
Ahinadab son of Iddo—in Mahanaim;
Verse 15
Ahimaaz—in Naphtali (he had married Basemath daughter of Solomon);
Nemusím vám akiste pripomínať, že ani vtedy, keď som prvý raz odišiel z Macedónska hlásať Krista, neprispel okrem vás vo Filipách nikto na moje výdavky.
Verse 16
Baana son of Hushai—in Asher and in Aloth;
Veď aj do Tesaloniky ste mi dva razy poslali, čo som potreboval.
Verse 17
Jehoshaphat son of Paruah—in Issachar;
Nejde mi o dary, omnoho viac ma teší vedomie, ako rastie vaše konto u Boha každou takou obeťou.
Verse 18
Shimei son of Ela—in Benjamin;
Všetko som teda v poriadku dostal a nič mi nechýba, keď mi Epafroditos odovzdal vaše dary.
Verse 19
Geber son of Uri—in Gilead (the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and the country of Og king of Bashan). He was the only governor over the district.
