1 Corinthians 16

Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do.

Kon parte sa inyo inugbulig sa mga katawhan sang Dios didto sa Judea, himuon man ninyo ang akon ginpahimo sa mga iglesya sa Galacia.

On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.

Kada Domingo, ang kada isa sa inyo magpain sang kantidad suno sa inyo kinitaan. Dayon tipunon ninyo ini agod sa pag-abot ko dira preparado na ang inyo inughatag.

Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem.

Pag-abot ko dira ipadala ko sa Jerusalem ang mga tawo nga inyo ginpili nga magdala sang inyo mga inugbulig kag ang akon sulat nga magapakilala sa ila.

If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me.

Pero kon kinahanglan gid nga magkadto man ako didto sa Jerusalem, magaupod na lang sila sa akon.

Ang Plano ni Pablo

After I go through Macedonia, I will come to you—for I will be going through Macedonia.

Maderetso ako dira sa Corinto paghalin ko sa Macedonia, tungod nga maagi ako didto.

Perhaps I will stay with you for a while, or even spend the winter, so that you can help me on my journey, wherever I go.

Mahimo nga magadugay ako dira sa inyo. Basi kon dira pa ako magpaligad sang tigtulugnaw, agod mabuligan ninyo ako sa akon mga kinahanglanon sa akon pagbiyahe kon diin man ako magakadto.

For I do not want to see you now and make only a passing visit; I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.

Indi ko gusto nga mag-agi lang ako sa inyo sing madali, kundi gusto ko nga kon dira na ako sa inyo, makatiner ako sing madugay, kon itugot sang Ginoo.

But I will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost,

Pero karon matiner ako anay diri sa Efeso hasta sa adlaw sang Pentecostes,

because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.

tungod nga madamo diri ang gusto magpamati sang Maayong Balita, kag nagapati ako nga madamo ang magatuo diri bisan madamo ang nagakontra.

When Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord, just as I am.

Kon mag-abot dira si Timoteo, abiabihon ninyo siya agod indi siya magkatahap, tungod nga pareho man siya sa akon nga nagapangabudlay sa Ginoo.

No one, then, should treat him with contempt. Send him on his way in peace so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers.

Tahura ninyo siya. Kag kon maghalin na siya dira, buligi man ninyo siya sa iya mga kinahanglanon sa iya paglakat agod makabalik siya diri sa akon. Ginapaabot ko siya upod sang iban pa nga mga utod kay Cristo.

Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.

Kon parte sa aton utod nga si Apolos, ginpangabay ko gid siya nga magbisita dira sa inyo upod sang iban nga mga utod kay Cristo. Pero indi pa siya kuno makakadto dira sa sini nga mga tinion. Makadto lang siya dira ugaling kon may kahigayunan siya.

Katapusan nga mga Bilin

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

Magbantay kamo permi kag magpakalig-on sa inyo pagtuo kay Jesu-Cristo. Magpakaisog kag magpakabakod kamo.

Do everything in love.

Kag bisan ano ang inyo ginahimo, himua ninyo ini nga may paghigugma.

You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the Lord’s people. I urge you, brothers and sisters,

Mga utod, nahibaluan ninyo nga ang una gid nga mga Kristohanon dira sa Acaya wala sing iban kundi si Stefanas kag ang iya pamilya. Ginhalad nila ang ila kaugalingon sa pag-alagad sa mga katawhan sang Dios. Amo ina nga nagapangabay ako sa inyo

to submit to such people and to everyone who joins in the work and labors at it.

nga magpasakop kamo sa ila kag pati man sa tanan nga pareho sa ila nga nagapangabudlay para sa Ginoo.

I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.

Nalipay gid ako sang pag-abot nila ni Stefanas, Fortunatus, kag Acaicus. Kay bisan wala kamo diri, ari man sila, gani nahimo nila sa akon ang indi ninyo mahimo.

For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.

Final Greetings

Nagahatag sila sang kalipay sa akon kag pati man sa inyo. Ang mga tawo nga pareho sa ila dapat nga pasalamatan sa ila mga ginahimo.

The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla^[a] greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.

Ang mga iglesya diri sa probinsya sang Asia nagapangamusta sa inyo. Si Aquila kag si Priscila kag ang mga tumuluo nga nagatipon^[a] sa ila balay sa pagsimba sa Dios nagapangamusta gid sa inyo, tungod nga pareho kamo nga ara sa Ginoo.

All the brothers and sisters here send you greetings. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

Nagapangamusta man sa inyo ang tanan nga utod kay Cristo diri.

Magkamustahanay kamo bilang mag-ulutod kay Cristo.^[b]

I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand.

Karon, ako mismo si Pablo ang nagasulat sini nga pagpangamusta:^[c] Kamusta sa inyo tanan.

If anyone does not love the Lord, let that person be cursed! Come, Lord^[b]!

Kabay pa nga silutan sang Ginoo ang bisan sin-o nga wala nagahigugma sa iya.

Ginoo, balik na!

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.

Kabay pa nga pakamaayuhon kamo ni Ginoong Jesus.
