Revelation 20

And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain.

He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

Он схватил дракона, древнего змея,^[a] который и есть дьявол и сатана, сковал его на тысячу лет^[b],

He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

бросил его в бездну, закрыл и опечатал, чтобы тот уже не мог больше обманывать народы, пока не окончится тысяча лет. После этого он должен быть освобождён на короткое время.

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They^[a] had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

И я увидел троны, на которых сидели те, кому дано было править, и души обезглавленных за свидетельство об Исо^[c] и за слово Всевышнего, души тех, кто не поклонился зверю и его изображению и не принял его клейма на лоб и на руку. Они ожили и царствовали с Масехом тысячу лет.

(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.

(Другие мёртвые не ожили, пока не окончилась тысяча лет.) Это первое воскресение.^[d]

Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

The Judgment of Satan

Благословенны и святы те, кто участвует в первом воскресении. Над ними вторая смерть^[e] уже не имеет власти. Они будут священнослужителями Всевышнего и Масеха и будут царствовать с Масехом тысячу лет.

Осуждение сатаны

When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison

Когда пройдёт тысяча лет, сатана будет освобождён из своей темницы. Он выйдет, чтобы обмануть народы со всех концов земли, народы, известные как Гог и Магог,^[f] чтобы собрать их на битву. Число их – как песчинок на берегу моря.

and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.

Они прошли маршем по всей земле и окружили стан народа Всевышнего – Его любимый город^[g].

They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.

Но с небес сошёл огонь и поглотил их.^[h]

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The Judgment of the Dead

Дьявол, который их обманул, был брошен в озеро, наполненное горящей серой, туда, где уже были зверь и лжепророк. Там они будут мучиться день и ночь, вечно.

Суд перед белым троном

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.

Затем я увидел огромный белый трон и Сидящего на троне. От Его присутствия скрылись земля и небо, но им не нашлось места.

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

Я видел мёртвых, великих и малых. Они стояли перед троном и перед раскрытыми книгами. Потом была раскрыта ещё одна книга – книга жизни. Мёртвые были судимы по их делам, согласно тому, что было записано в книгах.

The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.

Море отдало мертвецов, бывших в нём, и смерть и ад^[i] отдали своих мёртвых, что были в них, и каждый был судим по своим делам.

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.

Затем смерть и ад были брошены в огненное озеро. Огненное озеро – это вторая смерть.

Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Чьё имя не было найдено записанным в книге жизни, тот был брошен в огненное озеро.
