Ezekiel 26

In the eleventh month of the twelfth^[a] year, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me:

В одиннадцатом году, в первый день месяца (587 (586) г. до н. э.), было ко мне слово Вечного:

“Son of man, because Tyre has said of Jerusalem, ‘Aha! The gate to the nations is broken, and its doors have swung open to me; now that she lies in ruins I will prosper,’

– Смертный, за то, что Тир, насмехаясь, сказал об Иерусалиме: «Вот! Врата народов разрушены, распахнуты для меня. Он опустошён, и теперь я буду благоденствовать»,

therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Tyre, and I will bring many nations against you, like the sea casting up its waves.

Владыка Вечный говорит: «Я твой противник, Тир. Я подниму против тебя многие народы, подобно тому, как море вздымает волны.

They will destroy the walls of Tyre and pull down her towers; I will scrape away her rubble and make her a bare rock.

Они сломают твои стены и разрушат твои башни, а Я вымету из тебя пыль и сделаю голой скалой.

Out in the sea she will become a place to spread fishnets, for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord. She will become plunder for the nations,

Посреди моря ты станешь местом, где раскидывают рыбацкие сети, потому что Я так сказал, – возвещает Владыка Вечный. Ты будешь разграблен народами,

and her settlements on the mainland will be ravaged by the sword. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

а твои селения на земле будут преданы мечу. Тогда ты узнаешь, что Я – Вечный».

“For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: From the north I am going to bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar^[b] king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, with horsemen and a great army.

Ведь так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Смотрите, Я веду с севера на Тир Навуходоносора, царя Вавилона, царя царей, с конями и колесницами, всадниками и огромным, могучим войском.

He will ravage your settlements on the mainland with the sword; he will set up siege works against you, build a ramp up to your walls and raise his shields against you.

Он опустошит твои селения на земле мечом. Он возведёт против тебя осадные валы, сделает насыпь у твоих стен и обратит против тебя щиты.

He will direct the blows of his battering rams against your walls and demolish your towers with his weapons.

Он прикажет бить в твои стены таранами и разрушить твои башни кирками.

His horses will be so many that they will cover you with dust. Your walls will tremble at the noise of the warhorses, wagons and chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city whose walls have been broken through.

Коней у него будет так много, что поднятая ими пыль покроет тебя. Твои стены дрогнут от топота его боевых коней, повозок и колесниц, когда он войдёт в твои ворота, как входят в город, стены которого были пробиты.

The hooves of his horses will trample all your streets; he will kill your people with the sword, and your strong pillars will fall to the ground.

Копыта его коней будут попирать твои улицы. Он перебьёт твоих жителей мечом, и твои мощные колонны рухнут на землю.

They will plunder your wealth and loot your merchandise; they will break down your walls and demolish your fine houses and throw your stones, timber and rubble into the sea.

Твои богатства разграбят, твои товары расхитят. Твои стены сломают, роскошные дома разрушат, а камни, дерево и мусор бросят в море.

I will put an end to your noisy songs, and the music of your harps will be heard no more.

Я положу конец твоим шумным песням, и музыка твоих арф смолкнет.

I will make you a bare rock, and you will become a place to spread fishnets. You will never be rebuilt, for I the Lord have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord.

Я сделаю тебя голой скалой; ты станешь местом, где раскидывают рыбацкие сети. Ты никогда не будешь вновь отстроен, потому что Я, Вечный, так сказал», – возвещает Владыка Вечный.

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Tyre: Will not the coastlands tremble at the sound of your fall, when the wounded groan and the slaughter takes place in you?

Так говорит Тиру Владыка Вечный:

– Неужели побережье не вздрогнет от шума твоего падения, когда застонут раненые, когда в тебе начнётся резня?

Then all the princes of the coast will step down from their thrones and lay aside their robes and take off their embroidered garments. Clothed with terror, they will sit on the ground, trembling every moment, appalled at you.

Тогда властители побережья сойдут с престолов, сбросят мантии и снимут расшитые одежды. Охваченные трепетом, они будут сидеть на земле, вздрагивая каждый миг и ужасаясь твоей доле.

Then they will take up a lament concerning you and say to you:

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When I make you a desolate city, like cities no longer inhabited, and when I bring the ocean depths over you and its vast waters cover you,

Так говорит Владыка Вечный:

– Когда Я сделаю тебя опустошённым городом, подобным тем городам, где никто больше не живёт, когда Я сомкну над тобой океанскую бездну, и её великие воды покроют тебя,

then I will bring you down with those who go down to the pit, to the people of long ago. I will make you dwell in the earth below, as in ancient ruins, with those who go down to the pit, and you will not return or take your place^[c] in the land of the living.

тогда Я сведу тебя с теми, кто спускается в пропасть, к тем, кто жил в древности. Я поселю тебя в нижнем мире, среди вековечных развалин, с теми, кто спускается в пропасть, чтобы ты больше не был населён и не занял места^[a] на земле живых.

I will bring you to a horrible end and you will be no more. You will be sought, but you will never again be found, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

Я пошлю тебе страшный конец, и тебя не станет. Тебя будут искать, но не найдут, – возвещает Владыка Вечный.
