Zechariah 9

Verse 1

A prophecy:

The word of the Lord is against the land of Hadrak
and will come to rest on Damascus—
for the eyes of all people and all the tribes of Israel
are on the Lord—^[a]

Пророческое слово от Вечного против земли Хадраха^[a],
оно касается и Дамаска, –
так как Вечный смотрит на всех людей
и на все роды Исраила,^[b] –

Verse 2

and on Hamath too, which borders on it,
and on Tyre and Sidon, though they are very skillful.

касается и города Хамата, который граничит с Дамаском,
и городов Тир и Сидон, хотя они так мудры.

Verse 3

Tyre has built herself a stronghold;
she has heaped up silver like dust,
and gold like the dirt of the streets.

Тир себе выстроил крепость,
накопил серебра, как пыли,
и золота, как уличной грязи.

Verse 4

But the Lord will take away her possessions
and destroy her power on the sea,
and she will be consumed by fire.

Но Владыка добро у него отнимет,
бросит в море его богатства,
а сам он сгорит дотла.

Verse 5

Ashkelon will see it and fear;
    Gaza will writhe in agony,
    and Ekron too, for her hope will wither.
Gaza will lose her king
    and Ashkelon will be deserted.

Город Ашкелон увидит и устрашится,
    и сожмётся от страха город Газа,
и город Экрон вместе с ними:
    погибла его надежда.
Не станет в Газе царя,
    и Ашкелон опустеет.

Verse 6

A mongrel people will occupy Ashdod,
and I will put an end to the pride of the Philistines.

Ашдод заселится чужестранцами.

– Я сломлю гордость филистимлян, –
говорит Вечный. –

Verse 7

I will take the blood from their mouths,
    the forbidden food from between their teeth.
Those who are left will belong to our God
    and become a clan in Judah,
    and Ekron will be like the Jebusites.

Я исторгну из уст их кровь,
    из зубов – запретную пищу.
Уцелевшие из них будут поклоняться нашему Богу,
    они станут одним из кланов Иуды,
а жители Экрона станут частью Моего народа,
    как это в своё время произошло с иевусеями^[c].

Verse 8

But I will encamp at my temple
to guard it against marauding forces.
Never again will an oppressor overrun my people,
for now I am keeping watch.

The Coming of Zion’s King

Свой дом окружу Я охранным дозором
от грабительских свор.
Никакой обидчик к ним впредь не явится,
ведь ныне Я Сам на страже.

Будущий Царь Иерусалима

Verse 9

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!
    Shout, Daughter Jerusalem!
See, your king comes to you,
    righteous and victorious,
lowly and riding on a donkey,
    on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Ликуй от всего сердца, дочь Сиона!
    Кричи от радости, дочь Иерусалима!
Вот, Царь твой идёт к тебе:
    торжествующий, победоносный,
кроткий, верхом на ослице
    и на ослёнке, сыне ослицы.^[d]

Verse 10

I will take away the chariots from Ephraim
    and the warhorses from Jerusalem,
    and the battle bow will be broken.
He will proclaim peace to the nations.
    His rule will extend from sea to sea
    and from the River^[b] to the ends of the earth.

Он истребит^[e] колесницы в Ефраиме^[f]
    и коней боевых в Иерусалиме,
    и лук боевой будет сломан.
Он возвестит мир народам.
    Его владычество будет от моря до моря
    и от Евфрата – до краёв земли.

Verse 11

As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you,
I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit.

– Что до тебя, дочь Сиона,
то ради Моего соглашения с тобой, скреплённого кровью,
Я освобожу твоих пленников из безводного рва.

Verse 12

Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope;
even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.

Возвращайтесь в свою крепость,
узники, у которых теперь есть надежда!
Сегодня Я возвещаю, что воздам тебе
вдвое больше, чем ты потеряла.

Verse 13

I will bend Judah as I bend my bow
    and fill it with Ephraim.
I will rouse your sons, Zion,
    against your sons, Greece,
    and make you like a warrior’s sword.

The Lord Will Appear

Я, как лук, натяну Иудею,
    а стрелой положу Ефраима.
Я подниму твоих сыновей, Сион,
    против твоих сыновей, Греция^[g],
    и буду воевать тобой, словно мечом.

Явление Вечного

Verse 14

Then the Lord will appear over them;
his arrow will flash like lightning.
The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet;
he will march in the storms of the south,

Тогда явится над ними Вечный,
и сверкнёт Его стрела, словно молния.
В рог затрубит Владыка Вечный
и будет идти в южных бурях.

Verse 15

    and the Lord Almighty will shield them.
They will destroy
    and overcome with slingstones.
They will drink and roar as with wine;
    they will be full like a bowl
    used for sprinkling^[c] the corners of the altar.

Вечный, Повелитель Сил, их защитит,
    и они одолеют и истребят пращников.
Они напьются крови и будут шуметь, как от вина,
    наполнятся ею, словно чаши,
    из которых кропят углы жертвенника.

Verse 16

The Lord their God will save his people on that day
as a shepherd saves his flock.
They will sparkle in his land
like jewels in a crown.

Вечный, их Бог, спасёт их в тот день,
ведь они – Его народ, овцы Его стада.
Как драгоценные камни в венце,
они будут сверкать на Его земле.

Verse 17

How attractive and beautiful they will be!
Grain will make the young men thrive,
and new wine the young women.

Как прекрасны и хороши они будут!
От хлеба расцветут юноши,
а девушки – от молодого вина.
