Verse 1

I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers.

Мне была дана трость для измерений, наподобие посоха, и сказано:

– Встань и измерь ею храм Аллаха, жертвенник, и посчитай тех, кто пришёл туда на поклонение.

Verse 2

But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.

Но внешний двор храма не включай и не измеряй, потому что он отдан язычникам, они будут топтать святой город Иерусалим сорок два месяца.^[a]

Verse 3

And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

Я дам Моим двум свидетелям силу, и они будут пророчествовать в эти тысячу двести шестьдесят дней, одетые в рубище^[b].

Verse 4

They are “the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”^[a]

Это два оливковых дерева и два светильника, стоящие перед Владыкой земли.^[c]

Verse 5

If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.

Если кто-то пытается причинить им вред, то изо рта этих свидетелей выходит огонь и поглощает их врагов.^[d] Так погибает каждый, кто хочет причинить им вред.

Verse 6

They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

Им дана власть затворить небеса, чтобы в дни, когда они пророчествуют, на землю не шёл дождь, а также власть превращать воды в кровь и поражать землю всевозможными бедствиями столько раз, сколько они захотят.^[e]

Verse 7

Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.

Когда они полностью окончат своё свидетельство, тогда зверь, выходящий из бездны, нападёт на них, победит их и умертвит.

Verse 8

Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.

Их трупы будут лежать на улице великого города, где и их Повелитель был распят, города, который символически назван Содомом и Египтом.

Verse 9

For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.

Три с половиной дня на их трупы смотрит множество людей из всех народов, языков, родов и племён, и трупы их не разрешают похоронить.

Verse 10

The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

Жители земли радуются их гибели, устраивают праздники и посылают друг другу подарки, потому что присутствие этих пророков было мучительно для жителей земли.

Verse 11

But after the three and a half days the breath^[b] of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.

Но через три с половиной дня в них вошёл дух жизни от Аллаха, и они встали на ноги. Все, кто это видел, пришли в ужас.

Verse 12

Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

Два свидетеля услышали с небес громкий голос:

– Поднимитесь сюда.

Они поднялись в облаке на небеса, и их враги это видели.

Verse 13

At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

В тот же час произошло сильное землетрясение, и десятая часть города разрушилась. Во время землетрясения погибло семь тысяч человек, остальных же охватил ужас, и они прославили Бога небесного.

Verse 14

The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.

The Seventh Trumpet

Второе горе окончилось, но приближалось ещё третье.

Седьмая труба

Verse 15

The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.”

Затрубил седьмой ангел, и в небесах громко прозвучали слова:

– Царство мира стало Царством Вечного, Бога нашего, и Его Помазанника^[f]!
Он будет царствовать вечно!

Verse 16

And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God,

Двадцать четыре старца, которые сидят на своих тронах перед Аллахом, пали на лица свои и поклонились Аллаху,

Verse 17

saying:

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.

говоря:

– Мы благодарим Тебя, Вечный, Бог Сил,
Тот, Кто есть и Кто был,
за то, что Ты взял великую власть в Свои руки
и начал царствовать.

Verse 18

The nations were angry,
    and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
    and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your people who revere your name,
    both great and small—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

Народы разъярились,^[g]
    но сейчас настал черёд Твоего гнева.
Настал час суда над мёртвыми,
    час раздачи наград Твоим рабам пророкам
и Твоему святому народу, благоговеющему перед Твоим именем,
    как малым, так и великим,
и час истребления тех, кто истребляет^[h] людей на земле.

Verse 19

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.

Тогда на небесах открылся храм Аллаха, а в храме был явлен сундук Его священного соглашения^[i]. Засверкали молнии, раздались голоса, загремел гром, произошло землетрясение, и пошёл сильный град.
