Psalm 91

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”

Хорошо славить Вечного
    и воспевать имя Твоё, Высочайший,

Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.

возглашать милость Твою утром
    и верность Твою вечером,

He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

играть на десятиструнной лире
    и на мелодичной арфе.

You will not fear the terror of night,
    nor the arrow that flies by day,

Ведь Ты, Вечный, обрадовал меня Своими деяниями;
    я ликую о делах Твоих рук.

nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
    nor the plague that destroys at midday.

Как велики Твои дела, Вечный,
    и как глубоки Твои помышления!

A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.

Глупый человек не знает,
    и невежда не понимает их.

You will only observe with your eyes
    and see the punishment of the wicked.

Хотя нечестивые возникают, как трава,
    и злодеи процветают,
    они исчезнут навеки.

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,

Ты же, Вечный, навеки превознесён!

no harm will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.

Подлинно враги Твои, Вечный,
    подлинно враги Твои погибнут;
    все злодеи будут рассеяны.

For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;

А меня ты сделаешь сильным, подобно быку,^[b]
    и умастишь меня свежим маслом.

they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

Глаза мои видели поражение врагов моих,
    и уши мои слышали падение злодеев, восстающих на меня.

You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

А праведники цветут, словно пальма,
    возвышаются, как кедр на Ливане.

“Because he^[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

Посаженные в доме Вечного,
    они зацветут во дворах храма нашего Бога.

He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.

И в старости они будут плодовиты,
    сочны и свежи,

With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.”
