Psalm 105

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
    make known among the nations what he has done.

Славьте Вечного, потому что Он благ
    и милость Его – навеки!

Sing to him, sing praise to him;
    tell of all his wonderful acts.

Кто выразит могущество Вечного
    и возвестит всю Его славу?

Glory in his holy name;
    let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

Благословенны те, кто хранит правосудие
    и вершит праведные дела во все времена.

Look to the Lord and his strength;
    seek his face always.

Вспомни меня, Вечный, во время благоволения к Своему народу,
    помоги и мне, когда будешь спасать их,

Remember the wonders he has done,
    his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,

чтобы я увидел благополучие Твоих избранных,
    возвеселился вместе с Твоим народом
    и хвалился вместе с Твоим наследием.

you his servants, the descendants of Abraham,
    his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.

Мы согрешили, как и наши предки,
    совершили беззаконие, поступили нечестиво.

He is the Lord our God;
    his judgments are in all the earth.

Отцы наши не поняли Твоих чудес в Египте,
    забыли обилие Твоих щедрот
    и возмутились у Тростникового моря^[a].

He remembers his covenant forever,
    the promise he made, for a thousand generations,

Он всё же спас их ради Своего имени,
    чтобы показать Своё могущество.

the covenant he made with Abraham,
    the oath he swore to Isaac.

Он приказал Тростниковому морю,
    и оно высохло,
и провёл Он их через его глубины,
    как по суше.

He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree,
    to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

Спас их от рук ненавидящих их,
    избавил их от руки врага.

“To you I will give the land of Canaan
    as the portion you will inherit.”

Воды покрыли противников их,
    не осталось ни одного.

When they were but few in number,
    few indeed, and strangers in it,

Тогда поверили они Его словам
    и воспели Ему хвалу.^[b]

they wandered from nation to nation,
    from one kingdom to another.

Но вскоре забыли Его дела,
    не ждали Его совета.

He allowed no one to oppress them;
    for their sake he rebuked kings:

Страстно возжелали в пустыне мяса
    и испытывали Аллаха в необитаемой местности.

“Do not touch my anointed ones;
    do my prophets no harm.”

Он дал им желаемое,
    но послал на них страшную болезнь.^[c]

He called down famine on the land
    and destroyed all their supplies of food;

Они позавидовали в стане Мусе
    и Харуну, священнослужителю Вечного.

and he sent a man before them—
    Joseph, sold as a slave.

Земля разверзлась и поглотила Датана
    и всё скопище Авирама.

They bruised his feet with shackles,
    his neck was put in irons,

Возгорелся огонь посреди них,
    и пламя сожгло нечестивых.^[d]

till what he foretold came to pass,
    till the word of the Lord proved him true.

Они сделали изваяние быка на Синае^[e]
    и поклонились истукану;

The king sent and released him,
    the ruler of peoples set him free.

променяли Аллаха, их Славу,
    на изображение быка, питающегося травой.

He made him master of his household,
    ruler over all he possessed,

Забыли Аллаха, своего Спасителя,
    сотворившего великие дела в Египте,

to instruct his princes as he pleased
    and teach his elders wisdom.

чудеса в земле Хама^[f]
    и устрашающие дела у Тростникового моря.

Then Israel entered Egypt;
    Jacob resided as a foreigner in the land of Ham.

Поэтому Он сказал, что уничтожит их,
    и уничтожил бы, если бы не Муса, избранный Его,
который встал перед Ним в расселине,
    чтобы отвратить Его ярость,
    чтобы Он не погубил их.^[g]

The Lord made his people very fruitful;
    he made them too numerous for their foes,

И пренебрегли они землёй желанной,
    не поверили Его обещанию,

whose hearts he turned to hate his people,
    to conspire against his servants.

роптали в своих шатрах
    и не слушались голоса Вечного.

He sent Moses his servant,
    and Aaron, whom he had chosen.

Поэтому Он поклялся с поднятой рукой,
    что поразит их в пустыне,

They performed his signs among them,
    his wonders in the land of Ham.

а также их потомков среди народов,
    и рассеет их по землям.^[h]

He sent darkness and made the land dark—
    for had they not rebelled against his words?

Они присоединились к Баал-Пеору^[i]
    и ели жертвы, принесённые мёртвым идолам.

He turned their waters into blood,
    causing their fish to die.

Раздражали Его своими делами,
    и разразился среди них мор.

Their land teemed with frogs,
    which went up into the bedrooms of their rulers.

Но поднялся Пинхас, произвёл суд,
    и мор прекратился.

He spoke, and there came swarms of flies,
    and gnats throughout their country.

Это вменилось в праведность ему,
    что навсегда останется в памяти поколений.^[j]

He turned their rain into hail,
    with lightning throughout their land;

Ещё они прогневали Его у вод Меривы,
    и Муса был наказан из-за них,

he struck down their vines and fig trees
    and shattered the trees of their country.

потому что они возмутили его дух,
    и он погрешил своими устами.^[k]

He spoke, and the locusts came,
    grasshoppers without number;

Не уничтожили они народы,
    вопреки повелению Вечного,

they ate up every green thing in their land,
    ate up the produce of their soil.

а смешались с ними
    и научились их делам;

Then he struck down all the firstborn in their land,
    the firstfruits of all their manhood.

служили их идолам,
    которые стали для них сетью.

He brought out Israel, laden with silver and gold,
    and from among their tribes no one faltered.

Приносили демонам в жертву
    своих сыновей и дочерей;

Egypt was glad when they left,
    because dread of Israel had fallen on them.

проливали невинную кровь,
    кровь своих сыновей и дочерей,
которых жертвовали ханаанским идолам,
    и земля осквернилась кровью.

He spread out a cloud as a covering,
    and a fire to give light at night.

Они оскверняли себя своими делами,
    распутничали своими поступками.^[l]

They asked, and he brought them quail;
    he fed them well with the bread of heaven.

Поэтому возгорелся гнев Вечного на Его народ,
    и возгнушался Он Своим наследием.

He opened the rock, and water gushed out;
    it flowed like a river in the desert.

Он отдал их в руки чужеземцев,
    и ненавидящие Исраил властвовали над ними.

For he remembered his holy promise
    given to his servant Abraham.

Враги притесняли их,
    и они смирились под их рукой.

He brought out his people with rejoicing,
    his chosen ones with shouts of joy;

Много раз Он избавлял их,
    но они гневили Его своим упрямством
    и были унижены в своём беззаконии.^[m]

he gave them the lands of the nations,
    and they fell heir to what others had toiled for—

Всё же Он обращал внимание на их скорбь,
    когда слышал их вопль,

that they might keep his precepts
    and observe his laws.
