Luke 23

Then the whole assembly rose and led him off to Pilate.

Все встали и повели Ису к Пилату^[a].

And they began to accuse him, saying, “We have found this man subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Messiah, a king.”

Там они начали обвинять Его:

– Мы установили, что Этот Человек совращает наш народ. Он запрещает платить дань императору^[b] и называет Себя обещанным Масихом, Царём.

So Pilate asked Jesus, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

“You have said so,” Jesus replied.

Пилат спросил Его:

– Ты Царь иудеев?

– Ты сам так говоришь, – ответил Иса.

Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no basis for a charge against this man.”

Тогда Пилат сказал главным священнослужителям и толпе:

– У меня нет никаких оснований осудить Этого Человека.

But they insisted, “He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”

Но они настаивали:

– Он Своим учением возмущает народ по всей Иудее, начал в Галилее, а теперь пришёл сюда.

Иса Масих на допросе у Ирода

On hearing this, Pilate asked if the man was a Galilean.

– Этот Человек – галилеянин? – спросил, услышав это, Пилат.

When he learned that Jesus was under Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time.

И узнав, что Иса был из области, подвластной Ироду^[c], который тоже был в это время в Иерусалиме, он послал Ису к нему.

When Herod saw Jesus, he was greatly pleased, because for a long time he had been wanting to see him. From what he had heard about him, he hoped to see him perform a sign of some sort.

Ирод, увидев Ису, очень обрадовался, потому что уже давно хотел Его увидеть. Он много слышал об Исе и надеялся, что тот совершит для него какое-нибудь чудо.

He plied him with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer.

Он задавал Ему много вопросов, но Иса ничего не отвечал.

The chief priests and the teachers of the law were standing there, vehemently accusing him.

Стоявшие там главные священнослужители и учители Таурата усиленно обвиняли Ису.

Then Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked him. Dressing him in an elegant robe, they sent him back to Pilate.

Ирод же и его солдаты, посмеявшись и поиздевавшись над Исой, надели на Него царское одеяние и отослали обратно к Пилату.

That day Herod and Pilate became friends—before this they had been enemies.

В этот день Ирод и Пилат стали друзьями, а прежде они враждовали.

Пилат осуждает Ису Масиха на распятие

Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers and the people,

Пилат, созвав главных священнослужителей, начальников и народ,

and said to them, “You brought me this man as one who was inciting the people to rebellion. I have examined him in your presence and have found no basis for your charges against him.

сказал им:

– Вы привели ко мне Этого Человека и сказали, что Он подстрекает народ. Допросив Его в вашем присутствии, я не нахожу Его виновным в том, в чём вы Его обвиняете.

Neither has Herod, for he sent him back to us; as you can see, he has done nothing to deserve death.

Ирод тоже не нашёл в Нём никакой вины и отослал Его обратно к нам. Как видите, Он не сделал ничего, достойного смерти.

Therefore, I will punish him and then release him.” ^[17] [a]

Поэтому я прикажу бичевать Его, а затем отпущу.^[d]

But the whole crowd shouted, “Away with this man! Release Barabbas to us!”

Тогда все в один голос закричали:

– Смерть Ему! Отпусти нам Бар-Аббу!

(Barabbas had been thrown into prison for an insurrection in the city, and for murder.)

(Бар-Абба был заключён в темницу за поднятый в городе мятеж и за убийство.)

Wanting to release Jesus, Pilate appealed to them again.

Пилат же хотел отпустить Ису и ещё раз спросил их.

But they kept shouting, “Crucify him! Crucify him!”

Но они кричали:

– Распни, распни Его!

For the third time he spoke to them: “Why? What crime has this man committed? I have found in him no grounds for the death penalty. Therefore I will have him punished and then release him.”

Пилат в третий раз спросил:

– За что? Какое зло сделал Он? Я не нашёл за Ним никакой вины, за которую Он мог бы быть приговорён к смерти. Я прикажу бичевать Его, а затем отпущу!

But with loud shouts they insistently demanded that he be crucified, and their shouts prevailed.

Но они продолжали громко кричать и настаивать, чтобы Иса был распят. В конце концов криками они добились своего.

So Pilate decided to grant their demand.

Пилат согласился выполнить их требование.

He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, the one they asked for, and surrendered Jesus to their will.

The Crucifixion of Jesus

Он освободил, как они и просили, того, кто находился в темнице за бунт и за убийство, а Ису отдал на их волю.

As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus.

Когда Ису повели на распятие, конвоиры схватили некоего Шимона из Кирены, шедшего с поля, взвалили на него крест и заставили нести его за Исой.

A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him.

Среди множества людей, шедших за Исой, были и женщины, которые били себя в грудь и рыдали о Нём.

Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children.

Иса повернулся к ним и сказал:

– Дочери Иерусалима, не плачьте обо Мне, плачьте лучше о себе и о своих детях.

For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’

Наступает такое время, когда будут говорить: «Благословенны бесплодные, нерожавшие и не кормившие грудью!»

Then

For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

Ведь если с Праведником так поступают, то что же будет с грешниками?^[f]

Казнь Исы Масиха

Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed.

С Исой вели на казнь и двух преступников.

When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left.

Когда они пришли на место, называемое Лобным^[g], там распяли и Его, и преступников, одного по правую, а другого по левую сторону от Него.

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”^[c] And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

Иса говорил:

– Отец, прости им, ведь они не знают, что делают.

Солдаты разделили между собой одежду Исы, бросив жребий^[h].

The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.”

Народ стоял и смотрел. Начальники же смеялись над Ним:

– Спасал других! Пусть теперь спасёт Самого Себя, если Он Избранник Аллаха – Масих!^[i]

The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar

Солдаты тоже насмехались над Ним. Они давали Исе кислое вино^[j]

and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.”

и говорили:

– Спаси Себя, если Ты Царь иудеев!

There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the jews.

А над Исой на кресте была надпись: ЭТО ЦАРЬ ИУДЕЕВ.

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

Один из распятых преступников оскорблял Его, говоря:

– Разве Ты не обещанный Масих? Спаси Себя и нас!

But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?

Другой же унимал его и говорил:

– Побойся Аллаха! Ведь ты приговорён к тому же.

We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

Мы наказаны справедливо и получили по заслугам, а Этот Человек не сделал ничего плохого.

Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.^[d]”

И он сказал:

– Иса, вспомни меня, когда вернёшься как Царь.

Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

The Death of Jesus

– Говорю тебе истину: сегодня ты будешь со Мной в раю, – ответил ему Иса.

It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon,

Было около полудня, и по всей земле стало темно, и это продолжалось до трёх часов дня.

for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.

Солнце померкло, и завеса в храме разорвалась на две части.^[k]

Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”^[e] When he had said this, he breathed his last.

Иса громко крикнул:

– Отец, в Твои руки Я отдаю Мой дух!^[l]

Сказав это, Он испустил дух.

The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.”

Когда римский офицер всё это увидел, он прославил Всевышнего и сказал:

– Этот Человек действительно был праведником!

When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away.

И все люди, собравшиеся посмотреть на казнь, увидев, что произошло, возвращались по домам, ударяя себя в грудь.

But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.

The Burial of Jesus

Но все, кто знал Ису, включая и женщин, которые шли за Ним из Галилеи, стояли в отдалении, наблюдая за происходящим.

Погребение Исы Масиха

Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, a good and upright man,

Там был добрый и праведный человек, которого звали Юсуф. Будучи членом Совета,

who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea, and he himself was waiting for the kingdom of God.

он, однако, не был согласен с решением и делом иудейских вождей. Юсуф был уроженцем города Аримафеи в Иудее и ожидал прихода Царства Аллаха.

Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body.

Этот человек пошёл к Пилату и попросил тело Исы.

Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen cloth and placed it in a tomb cut in the rock, one in which no one had yet been laid.

Он снял тело, обернул его в льняное полотно и положил в высеченную в скале могильную пещеру, где ещё никого до этого не хоронили.

It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.

Это была пятница – день приготовления к иудейской субботе, которая уже наступала.^[m]

The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it.

За Юсуфом пошли женщины, пришедшие с Исой из Галилеи, они видели могильную пещеру и то, как тело Исы было положено в неё.

Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment.

Вернувшись, они приготовили душистые мази и масла. Субботу они провели в покое, согласно повелению Таурата.
